What God Really Thinks About Women -
01-19-2008, 03:13 PM
Dear Friends,
There seems to be some confusion among our guests as to the proper role of women. I understand this confusion. If I were to form my own opinion, based solely on my experience and logic, I would think that women were roughly equal to men in ability and character, and entitled to equal rights under the law. Thankfully, the Bible has set me -- and all of us -- straight.
The fact of the matter is, woman, not man, first disobeyed God and forever lost the human race its place in Eden. Men were simply dragged down in the coverup. "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." 1 Timothy 2:14.
A woman's ability to produce children is not a miracle and testament to her worth, but an affliction justly imposed by an angry God. "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee." Genesis 3:1-16. Likewise, her mestrual cycle is not a natural and wholesome process, but a source of pollution and shame, requiring that she be set apart from the men. Leviticus 12.
A lot of women I know are tough as nails and sensible as dependable shoes. But God tells me plain as day that in fact they are "the weaker vessel," 1 Peter 3:7, "silly" and "laden with lust," Timothy 3:6, cowardly, Isaiah 19:16 and Jeremiah 51:30, and "careless," Isaiah 32:9-11. Over and over, they lead men into sin. Numbers 31:16, 1 Kings 21:25, Nehemiah 13:26 (saying, of Solomon, "among many nations was there no king like him...nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.") Obviously, appearance aside, these women cannot be trusted to play any important leadership role in society or ministry.
I'm sure that I have just scratched the surface on this important topic. But in any event, my point is surely clear. The Lord has told us what to think of women and how to treat them. And I, for one, have every intention of following the Word of the Lord!
Yours in Him,
bab

PRAISE YOU Brother Bab's.
I agree with you and God 100% in this matter.
I've tried telling these uppity women only recently to know their place but It's generally fallen on deaf ears.
It's obvious, any Woman who fails to agree is just a Feminazi lezbeen!

God Hates we Ladies - and we know it
But being Ladies, we also know that by being even more Loving and Servile, He will Certainly™ some day change His mind!
Also, we get our Revenge on Him by preferring 'JESUS' to 'God' by a roughly 9-to-1 margin.

PRAISE! You are so right with every word you write, Brother Bob! I know I have to pray so hard every day for the strength to not tempt my husband, Mr. Whitford, down a sinful path, and the Lord helps by giving Mr. Whitford a firm hand with which to guide me.

It's a simple fact. If God wanted women to be equal, He would have given them brains instead of ovaries. I cannot imagine even the most extreme of radical feminists disagreeing with Jesus and me on this point.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
