And I just think it is funny that people insist Protestants "split from" the Catholic church.
It was Catholics who split from the True Church due to their apostasy. It was then left to Protestants to reform what was left of the True Church, back to the way it had begun (hence the term "reformation"). Sadly that didn't last very long and most followed the papists in apostasy. Only a few True Christians ™ remain, much like in the days of Noah. But the Word still goes out, giving everyone one last chance and leaving them without excuse.

When Mary was hassling Him to make wine, Jesus' reply was:
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee?
2,000 years ago, He was already getting impatient with her nagging. Imagine how sick of her He is now!
Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.
Praying to the queen of heaven provokes God to anger.

They were both invented by the Devil to confuse idiots and make the Baby Jesus cry.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Don't be ridiculous. I am but a mere layperson of the church. If the Pope had any sort of interest in a small church in rural America, he would send a clergyman to order it out, not a mere commoner like me.

(Ps. 103:20-21). And in Psalms 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host!" (Ps. 148:1-2).
|
You are totally misreading this. In the Psalms, we are not asking the angels to pray with us. We are giving them a warning, telling them that they'd better damned well bless the Lord, because one day we are going to judge their conduct:
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? 1 Corinthians 6:3
Quote:
Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, we read: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Rev. 8:3-4).
|
Not only will the angel not be praying for us, he won't be praying at all! He will be swinging an incense censer. Do you know the difference?
Quote:
John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8). The simple fact is, as this passage shows: The saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.
|
It doesn't say anything even remotely like that. It says they will bow down before the Lord, not that they will pray.

It means the saints as in those who are part of the Body of Christ and thus the True Church. The Catholic church is not the true church and is not only because of the superstition and magickal thinking the Catholic Church employs. I love Latin as a language as I do Chinese and Japanese. I do on the other hand, not appreciate many of the things attached to the languages I like. The Catholic church uses a interesting form of Latin, but that won't mean anything to God on Judgement Day. He won't care one iota when he is dealing with them for thier sins and evil actions.
I have no sig to put here. Just haven't thought about it yet and don't have an idea what to do. Got suggestions? PM me and let me know.

So what you're saying is, if you had been, It would be full of the papal seed.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

We are trying to shame you into NOT being a damned sodomite.
Let the papal emission recede from your victuals, and then let the Landoverian Truth wash the Salvation into your body.

Uh, that's okay. We realy don't need any pictures of you having anal sex with anonymous men.
I feel sorry for Jesus, having to witness such revolting abominations. What a loving God He is.

I never said it was rape.
You would undoubtedly be a willing vessel for the Papal residue.

So is praying to Mary and calling your priests "father," but that doesn't stop you.

Of course not. It was from the local parish priest who received it from the bishop, who received it from the arch bishop, who received it from the pope.
Indirectly, of course.
