If I would have listened to my parents, I would now be a fluffy bunny "christian" happily cherry-picking feel-good verses of the Bible that sound nice and pretty. I'd probably live a nice life, and then when I died, Jesus would resurrect me at some point and throw me into the flames of Hell.

Why? Because I didn't follow the WHOLE Bible.

Nope, what set me on the path to being a True Christian™ is actually taking the time to READ the Bible, cover-to-cover. I was amazed at the things that were in there, things that were never even HINTED at by my parents or the "preachers" we had at church.

So, before you accuse US of being "confused" take the time to read it for yourself. It changed my life!

But the bible isn't only written by god and his prophets, normal people wrote their parts, too. And people are full of hate, because it's our nature, or, how you would say, some of us are affected by satan. So how do you know that some parts of the bible are describing the will of god, and not the will of satan?
Satan represents hate, and this forum is filled with people that think god tells us to hate some groups of people, or even kill them.
This should be a christian and not a satanic forum...

And lest you think that these rules were meant for thousands of years ago, and don't apply today:
