I think that you're honestly confused here. I've worked with kids for many years, and I know how tempting many of these worldly things are at your age.

The truth is right now you're looking for excuses not to do what you know is right and what the Bible says. I think you already know why we believe (and KNOW) that this music is unCHRISTlike.

You probably think that good old fashioned church hymns like "Power in the Blood" and "The Old Rugged Cross" can't be exciting, but they can be!

Christianty isn't about picking what you like best. The LORD doesn't care what you like, what matters is what HE likes.

By the way, it's not just the lyrics that are wrong, it is also the choice of instrument, the beat and the image these sinners promote.
