Brothers & Sisters,
In today's world where there is always something to buy, some trip to take and some experience to be had, it can be easy to lose sight of what really matters. I am as guilty of this as anyone else: I am always planning some trip or another, or getting too focused on my work.
But we have to stop and ask ourselves: how much time are we making for Jesus?
Is it more time than you spend making sandwiches? Is it more time than you spend watching football? Is it more time than you spend watching re-runs of Family Guy?
It gets harder.
Do you make more time to spend with your friends or with Jesus? For me, I find that I spend maybe two hours every day with my friends, whether it's eating lunch, taking a jog or any number of things. On top of that, I spend over an hour watching my shows on TV at night. And another hour or two online. This scares me: I am making time for 6 hours every day socializing with my friends or having "me" time. How much time am I spending just with me and Jesus every day? I am sad to report to you that I spend a maximum of 3 hours a day in the Word and in prayer. This is unacceptable!
So I challenge you, brothers & sisters: keep a log of how you spend your time for the next week or two. Mark down the time you spend with friends, with family members, at a restaurant, watching TV. Then add up that time and compare it with the amount of time that you spend with Jesus. If you spend more on the former than the latter, then rearrange your schedule. If Jesus isn't your top priority, then there is more work to be done.
Literally anything that you spend more time on than Jesus is sinful. I can't be more clear about this. The most important relationship of all time is your relationship with your Creator. Anything else must fall by the wayside. If you can spend 3 hours a day playing with your kids, why can't you spend 3 hours a day conversing with the One who Created you and gives you a limited offer to spend Eternity with Him?

Well how do you count busting perverts like kids watching Game of Thrones on cable TV? I would say I was doing that in Christ's name.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

I spend two hours every day reading the KJV by myself in my study.
I spend a few hours every day going over Gods teachings with my nieces. Females, you know.
I spend an hour before every meal discussing how God watches over and provides for us.
I read to all children in the Hutchins home expressed from my loins an hour before bed, mostly Deuteronomy (it gives them things to think about during the time they while away 'sleeping'.)
I dedicate several hours every day here to spread Gods unmeasurable Love.
Then of course, all day Sunday, sun up to sun down at Church.
I'd be more active but Hutchin's Holdings, LLC does not run on its' own.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I usually find myself working eight hours a day and I always need at least eight hours of sleep each night, so that leaves just eight remaining hours in my day for things like bathing, eating, and whatnot.
And that's not counting my prayer closet time.
I suppose I could try to train myself to function on less sleep or tell my boss I want to only work part time. Making ends meet might be a challenge, though.
