That principal is a wise and decent person indeed! This child isn't "autistic," he is a bully! What does the LORD tell us about bullies? Well, even though we won't find the words "bully" or "bullying" in the pages of the Holy Bible, there are plenty of stories about people who are definitely bullies. One word that is used to describe these people is "brutish", which refers to the brutal violence and anger of thieves, assassins, or savage beasts (Psalm 49:10; Proverbs 12:1; Isaiah 19:11). Interestingly, the Hebrew and Greek words translated from "brute" or "brutish" refers to being stupid, foolish and irrational. In fact, they are words that are used to describe cattle. Ha! Does anyone resemble a stupid cow any more than a foolish autistic child like that?
He is a bully because he is holding the rest of his class hostage. They are being held hostage to his antics, denied a proper education because he refuses to stop fooling around and grow up and act his age. What he needs is to understand he is not entitled to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, and to stand in the way of innocent school children.
The apostle Paul teaches us that "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man" (1 Corinthians 10:13). In other words, every one of us faces temptations of some kind; even Jesus was not immune as He was "in all points tempted like as we are" (Hebrews 4:15). Does this foolish child actually think he is more special than Christ Himself?
It is man's fallen and corrupted human nature that allows Satan's temptations to take root and cause us to act on them. Because this child is a selfish sinner, Satan's temptations are embraced and "bringeth forth sin" (James 1:15). What this imp needs to know is that it is the power of the Holy Spirit that enables us to free ourselves from the sin and temptations we struggle with in our daily lives! Why, when we have the Spirit of Christ residing in our hearts, we already have what it takes to resist the flaming arrows the devil sends our way! For this reason, the Apostle Paul encourages us to "Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16)!
The Word of God has always been our only defense against Satan’s temptations, and the better we know His Word, the easier it will be to claim victory over our daily struggles. The Psalmist writes, "I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." (Psalm 119:11). Is this the advice of the parents of that selfish child? No! Instead, they demand the innocent children who are being denied a decent education should stop encouraging the boy to stop with his tomfoolery!
I will admit, Brother Godly, this story makes me hopping mad. I hate to see children being encouraged to be bullies like this autistic child is. I hate to see public schools that are clearly fighting against the liberal agenda be silenced. I hate to see it so much!
O Come Lord Jesus!
