Membership is not for sale. You cannot buy your way into membership. However, it is reasonable to think that the Lord will look more favorably on those pious folk who have tithed handsomely.
I hope this clears up any confusion or misunderstanding.

I got it loud and clear and excuse me while I rip some 'true christians butts on a no paying board, so to say.. lol
I should not waste my time on a silly message board but this post did get to me real personal... And they also keep proving my point and I am waiting for some real sound answers. Tick tock...
You can understand? arghh!
It's okay if I show anger because jesus did in that one temple thing, right?

No. You are a woman. Best you be meek and silent. Take a hint from that lovely Mrs. Ex-papist, Mary Maria. That is the way women should look. Clean, apple-cheeked, no makeup and no sassy back-talk. Instead, I fear you are taking the hint of that heathen good-for-nothing Rachael Van HELLBOUND!

I'm afraid I must take exception to your description of this Godly forum as a " silly message board". This is one of the very few places on the interwebs where a body can get saved these days.
We are serious folks with a serious mission here. We have been called to get God's Word out to people so they can get Saved. Our mission could be undermined by promoting too many folks too quickly, before they have satisfactorily demonstrated that they are up to the challenge.
Of course, sometimes we are surprised when the Lord recommends that we promote an unrepentant Hellbound sinner who can't make up her mind whether she's a Liberal Christian or an Atheist. Not that I expect a woman to be able to make up her mind, but I just think that Jesus has an extremely dry sense of humor.

Yes, if you submitted to your husband gracefully, without moving or jittering or yappity yap yap yapping. JESUS needs all the little soldiers he can get. Please train Baby (him or her) to play with knives and guns, but don't give out real ones before the age of six.

Girl, you got that totally right unless you listen to the Pastors Godly advice that you may change your back-talking ways and your Yappity-Yap-yap-yap.
The Almighty has brought you here for a reason.
That reason is obviously to give you the privilege of being a Baby Factory for Jesus

You seem to be preoccupied with your status as "Unsaved Trash" Seeker. You have not truly accepted your status in your heart; you are indeed Unsaved Trash. It is only when you fully realize your ultimate worthlessness as a sinning female wench that you can repent and proceed on your path to salvation. Get over your exalted opinion of yourself, witness and confess your depravity, put aside your hubris, and Jesus might just shine His Light upon you.
Glory!

You made me think of something. What if I tried all these years to be truly saved and then later found out that I was not part of the elect?

Sorry, it was all that spirtual wine that made me Yappity - yap don't talk back thing.
I won't be like that today because after taking care of my 10 children, cooking and cleaning, being a soccer type mom, helping in the aiding of global warming in my suv ( I got to get them all in there some how) doing personal favors for my husband, and well not making a dime out of it... I am tired.
But it is okay because I am doing the Lord's will. Next will be to homeschool.

That happens all the time, and it is heartbreaking. However, scripture tells us that we can't fault God for this. We have no right to even question Him about it. In fact, it is GOOD that He does this. By throwing some folks in Hell without giving them a choice in the matter, it increases His reputation for mercy among those He saved.
Praise the Merciful God that I didn't end up like those people!

Billy(my one true favorite that always speaks the truth and no one can argue, always patient and kind, but yet can put a sinner in his place better than John Haggee)
You speak in simple terms and I thank you..
Sorry I was mouthy last night. It must be the curse of PMS or something. I know you will forgive me.
As always thanks for sharing the true word. You are one of the elect because the bible told me so.

I trust you are using a rag like a Godly woman, rather than shoving one of Satan's Cotton Fingers up inside of your hootenanny like some harlot.

Yes, but isn't it much more fulfilling to serve your husband than make a grand an hour in Vegas 'dating' movie stars?
