  • Hi there!

Let's see... I'm not really sure what to say...
Sooo... I guess I'll start with: My name is Kris, I'm female, I don't currently belong to a church (although I have been to the Methodist church down the street a couple of times), I'm working a temporary babysitting job (that's about to end since the father just got a promotion at his job and the mother is going to quit her job after her 6th kid) it doesn't pay much but is still money in my pocket so I'm not complaining...
Umm, that's all I got, sooo... Hi!
    Psalm 18:3
I will call upon the LORD, [who is worthy] to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Hello, Kris and welcome to God's Favorite Forum(tm). I must ask, why aren't you watching your own kids instead of other people's? A woman's place is in the home, and I know you mean well trying to help out a friend, but the sad reality is that a woman (especially with six kids!) needs to be at home taking care of her own home.

As for the methodist "church", that's not really a church since it's just a gay-loving hellbound cult.

What is your favorite Bible verse, dear? Have you actively looked hard to join a local independent Baptist church?

Well, I don't have any kids of my own. I'd love to have some one day, but none of the guys that I've met even want kids, they just want sex. And the only real reason she was working in the first place was to make sure they don't lose the house (she was only working part time anyway). But with this new promotion of her husband's, she can actually afford to be a stay-at-home mom.

There are only 2 Baptist churches near where I live: 1 is where one of the Pastors was arrested for murdering his entire family and drinking their blood (which was really creepy to hear about) and the other is in an unsafe neighborhood (I was robbed at gunpoint the last 2 times I was there).

What? Are you talking about my email address? That's just some stupid nickname my friends gave when I was a freshmen in High School. I was really into vampires back then but not anymore (can't really say the same for some of my friends, but it's fun to watch them get all serious when they're trying to explain how "vampires are real" and all. It's really hilarious!)
It's an email address that I've had for a few years now.

I have to ask: is that the reason it says "satan worshipper" under my name and why my signature is the way it is now?

So I take it your screeename (CarnalBlade) was forced upon you too? The Name "Kris' not good enough for you? Did you tell your parents that you hated the name they gave you?

If my dad had killed ten people, I'd still be proud to have the name he gave me.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I like the name "Kris" just fine, CarnalBlade is just some online screenname I've had almost as long as the email address I have. Neither really mean anything to me now, I just don't see the point in coming up with something "new" when I can easily remember the ones I already have. If I just went by Kris anywhere on the internet I could be mistaken for someone else (that has happened to me before), but that's not the same with "CarnalBlade".

What are you here for Kris? To spit in Baby Jesus' face?

                Why do you hate America?

What exactly are you talking about? I came across this site during a Google search and thought I would check it out.
I love America. If I didn't I would be living here.

Excellent! You're not living in America because you love it. Real Americans heartily approve of your proactive action! I may have misjudged you.

You're not in Cunuckistan, are you?

I was born and raised in Texas and I say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning just as my parents raised me to do. I come from a big military family (either currently or retired from the military - Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy, etc...) and can date my mother's side of the family in America all the way back to the early 1700's.
I may not currently be in a church, but does not make me any less American.

Eh, patriotism slash American values tend to include 'active' practice of Christianity. Going to church is part of being a Christian. Ideally. At least with the folks at LBC. Nice to have you, Kris (although your screen name does sound vaguely phallic...).

                              Thank you for the welcome.
I do pray everyday, I read my Bible everyday, and I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I just haven't found the right church to attend. I was also born and raised here in America. I don't get why they keep calling me "satan worshipper" and "vampire".
(I know my screen name sounds a little -odd-, but what do you expect, it's a nickname from high school)
