He is too! I believe in Harry Potter. I believe Harry Potter is much more real than the god of the xians or the godess thing of the wiccans pagans etc. If I was stuck on a desert island (I know what ur going to say about that) I would rather have Jk Rowling books than Gardener Rowely the Bible or any of that fiction. Trouble is he is going to die in the last book people think. I gave a list elsewhere about how it might happen.

Really? Well, Rosa DOES have a great potato salad recipe . . . I don't know, B-J seems to think you folks had an undue influence on me. He says that I shouldn't eat your husband's meat. His cooking, that is.

well, BJ has never tasted the food at our BBQ's. The only influence it would have is on your stomach. A good one.
As to my husbands meat..erm...cooking, no-one eats that but me.
He serves that particular dish only to me.
We were talking about that whole wizardology book too. We agree that it's a very pretty little thing, all shiny with the pretty crystals, but it's no grimoire. It's a nice gift for a child, though.

So are the incantations of the catlicker cult - I suppose you're going to claim that they're not a real cult either?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

NO!! Sex education is one thing, but yakking to little kids about orgies is another!! Do kids 12 years and under really need to know all about orgies? They'll undoubtedly find out all they need to know as a teen anyway.
My point was, considering the amount of inappropriate material in the bible, why is it better in the eyes of some parents than a harmless kids book?

Why is The Bible inappropriate? God wants everyone to read it.

What, so we should teach little kids about sex, without teaching little kids about sex? You lieberals are the ones who want mandatory fornication classes for 8-year-olds; why are you so opposed to your own ideas?

Oh, I don't know, maybe because it's twisted, judgemental, spiteful, filled with hate, violence and more and it's horrid?

ARG! That isn't what I mean and you know it. There's such a thing as a beasic sex education. And besides, that doesn't usually start until high school anyway.
It's one thing to teach kids about sex and safe sex, another to tell them about the most convenient way in which 4+ people can.....ok, I am SO not finishing that sentence.

I mean no offense sir but isn't Merlin a real character? I am sorry if I missed the point but shouldn't the parent tell the child that it shoudn't be taken seriously. And I am ashamed to admitt that I have tried to use magic and it doesnt work so...

Friend,
Magic is pure evil and here is why; when you attempt for a moment to magic you are wishing to have the powers of God. Now The Bible shows that a sin in the mind is the same as a sin in act. Since you are no perfect as God is you would apply those vast powers for selfish, evil ends. So basically when you try magic, no matter how pathetic and hopless the attempt is, you have harmed countless thousands and usurped God. That’s why Harry Potter and Dungeons and Dragons are so evil.
To think evil it to be evil.

You meant to say BEASTic sex education there, didn't you??
Children should not be educated in such gross behaviour, no matter how common it is among you pagans.
And they actually teach such things in some high schools?
Yet another reason to homeschool!

You should teach them something, prepare them for it, because if they come across it in life they should know how god thinks about it. Thats they way you should think about this. Solve the problem, by letting them know how it should be treated.

And what is this "it" you think they're likely to "come across"? A 15-year-old gook ladyboy's face? Such practices may be common among the Episcopalians, but there's no place for them here!

I know that, but if you look at the media and television stuff, children will most likely come across any kind of wicca/unholy actions and things. Arm them against it!

I suppose we should also "arm them against homosexuality"? Maybe we should inject them with methamphetamines to make sure that they know its effects? There are some things that should just be kept out of the poor children's minds -- corrupting thoughts should be kept far out of sight (out of sight, out of mind, as it were). I refer you to the quote in my signature that reminds us of how God feels about this situation. Those things that are evil and are not according to His Will we are to put out of our lives. It is that simple! Things like wicca, harry potter and democratic politics should never be mentioned in a True Christian household.
