Hello. -
11-08-2016, 04:20 PM
Hi!
I'm not really sure what to really say, I kind of found my way here by accident. A close friend of mine sent me a link to posts on these forums and was joking about them because she found what she read funny, but I didn't understand what was supposed to be funny? I decided to ignore her and peruse the forums because I was really curious about everything I saw and read, and I found myself agreeing with so many things. I feel like so many things I read were insightful and just feel like this is somewhere I belong here with all of you, and I hope that you'll have me.

Welcome, Audrey. We welcome virtuous Christian youth and all others for that matter, so long as they come to praise Jesus and engage in fellowship with other Christians. Sadly, we are well used to being the butt of unkind jokes launched by unsaved wretches such as your friend. They will torment us for the now, but it is us who will have the last laugh as they writhe in agony in the Lake of Fire which burns with sulphurous flame. I hope your father has given you permission to be here. If so, please tell us more of your life and your walk with Jesus. We'd like to know about your Pastor, your congregation and other information which may be helpful in our getting to know you.
God Bless!

Welcome to God's favourite forum! What church do you go to, what is your favourite Bible(KJV1611) verse and when did you start your walk with Christ?
YIC
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Well, that is where things get kind of weird I think? Because I see and read everything here and so many of you have...
Hrm. I'm not even sure how to word it! I wasn't raised Christian, or even religious at all for that matter, and my family has never really been very... erm... spiritual people in any way at all (don't get me started on my youngest brother), and I've always felt a bit like a black sheep in the family because I wanted to be, but I was never sure how to do so in such an anti-religious family. I was given a bible when I was in elementary school and I really enjoyed reading it very thoroughly, but my father threw it away when he saw me with it and I told him where I had received it from.
I don't know, I've always believed everything that Christianity has presented, which is kind of everything my upbringing tried to tell me not to believe, but I felt like I had to believe. I've never officially been baptised or anything of that nature, but I know in my heart what I am and who I should be with, and it's why I wanted to register here because I read that finding a community and assembling with other supportive Christians is an important first step and it's a step I wanted to take. It's a bit of a nervous experience for me lol, which is why I said I hope you'll all have me because I really want to belong.

May I greet you with a warm welcome Sister Audrey!
Please keep in mind that here we follow the Bible 100%. No shortcuts and no cherry picking.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

Oh, I would never dream of taking shortcuts for anything in life.
I feel like it is has taken me too long to even reach this point in my life considering how I feel inside, and maybe if I want to truly feel a part of this community I should probably do something, so I need to ask - how do you get baptised? Would I just go to a local church and ask? There are four on my walk home each day. There is a beautiful one very near me called Saint Agnes Church that I love to walk by, because the bells ring a lot and they're really nice to listen to.
Or is it easier to get the phone number for the church and call them? Do they do it by appointment (I'd be so afraid of walking in and interrupting mass or something) or are there set hours, like outside of mass and stuff, where you can just walk inside?

First of all, you should find an actual Christian church that follows the Bible, the whole Bible (Matthew 4:4), and nothing but the Bible (Proverbs 30:6). You should certainly not go to a Catholic "church," which is what Saint Agnes sounds like, and participate in its counterfeit Christianity.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Okay, I did more looking! I found a First Baptist Church and a United Baptist Church. They're a little further away, but I know that I can walk to them. I think they might be about 30 minutes away if I walk.

A warm and welcoming HELLO, Sister Audrey!
What is your age? Have you married? I ask these things because I am an unmarried, handsome, professional young man in search of a helpmeet to bear sons for Christ. But hey - let's not go too fast too soon, right?
Are you familiar with the practice of gnathology? Do you enjoy animals?
I'll be anxious to see your responses. In the meantime, you may lean on the fine women of this congregation for any assistance you need in learning more about Christ Jesus and the Holy Bible.

Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man. Amen and Amen
