My daughters have acted out! -
12-31-2014, 04:15 PM
Hello my Landover friends! I've come to you all with the most unsettling news. My eldest daughter, Priscilla (whom is thirteen) and youngest daughter, Rhoda, at only seven years of age has spoken out! It was last night as myself and the girls were cleaning the supper dishes when it happened. Now Rhoda, being a bit slow because she has yet to understand that a good wife is quick and remains out of the way, was lazily clunking dishes by the sink not minding that the noise was disturbing her father and her brothers. One of my darling boys,Daniel, was coming in and requested a snack. I promptly responded to his request and ordered the girls to keep going about their cleaning. As I turned to serve Daniel is snack, Rhoda side stepped right in front of my and I nearly dropped Daniel's plate! Daniel shouted out to his great father about the ordeal but as soon as he got a word out Priscilla proceeded to cover his mouth with her own hand to silence him! I could not have been more appalled. What has gotten into those two girls? This is definitely not how Isaiah and I have raised them! Isaiah gave Priscilla heavy beating, which she rightfully deserved and for her clumsiness Rhoda has been denied all three meals today by her father. Please, how could I prevent this from happening again??

Joanna,
What unsettling news. Well, I'm not a mother yet, but may I recommend continued spankings for the next week, and then time in their prayer closets studying on how to be a good wife. Or if you like, I'll take the younger one, for a month, and she can learn under me.
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

Oh, Sister Elizabeth, that would be greatly appreciated! Sometimes I feel lost with what to do with Rhoda. I fear it might be Priscilla leading her in bad example. What will I do if the other four girls follow suit? I will drop off Rhoda at your home whenever you find it to be most convenient! Surely she will learn something from such a well behaved wife such as yourself!

I think one thing that stumps people about referring to the Holy Bible for instructions with life is that they tend to look to It as a source of information to be used in bits and pieces. People search on Google for things like, "how many sins are there," "will God smite my enemies," "how many foreskins did David collect," and "what is it with God and foreskins anyway". But True Christians™ know the Holy Bible is God's Love Letter to His beloved, adopted children (Romans 8:14). Read as a whole, there is nothing about our life this side of Heaven that is not addressed in the Holy Word of God.
So what does the Bible say about disobedient children? Well, the Bible tells us first and foremost that God is a God of authority, and has authority over all creation (Acts 5:29; Ephesians 1:21; Matthew 28:18; Colossians 2:10; Hebrews 1:2; 1 Peter 3:22). As such, it is only logical that we find and embrace our roles in this construct. As mothers, we are wives first of course, and so we can practice submissiveness to our husbands in a show of gratitude and loyalty to the Lord (Genesis 3:16; 1 Corinthians 11:3; 1st Timothy 2:12; Ephesians 5:22-24). Your children will learn much from observing your role in the home. I would suggest that you first take the time to search your own heart for the presence of sin.
Once you've found and confessed your sin, you can begin to focus on teaching your children due submissiveness (Colossians 3:20; Deuteronomy 5:16; Ephesians 6:1; Proverbs 6:20).
There is a reason our Heavenly Father demands our obedience. He knows that sin has corrupted the world and that our human minds are too finite to comprehend perfect justice. It would be like trying to explain to your dog how the car engine works. The dog will never comprehend it, but he knows he can trust you to get him from place to place safely when his face is flapping in the 70mph wind, enjoying the experience.
Our responsibility as True Christian™ parents is to teach our children the real meaning of life. (Ecclesiastes 12:13) Their true rights and earthly desires ought not be confused with this. They have one right and one right only - to be taught the saving message of the Gospel. Everything else is temporary (even if it lasts 93 years).
They must learn the importance of avoiding Satan's lies. Being a "good person," or "loving your neighbor" isn't the kind of qualities that will save them from the loving punishment of their sin. They must know that God will not offer them Salvation if they do not love Him to the exclusion of every other thing (1 John 2:15; Romans 12:2; James 4:4). Children must be taught to live for Heaven, for it does not come naturally to want this. It is natural to fulfill the desires of the flesh, but this will not do (Colossians 3:1-2; Philippians 3:20; Matthew 10:28; Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:15).
Some time ago I wrote about this in more detail. You can read and join the conversation here. I would encourage you to know, really know, what God's plan for you is (Ecclesiastes 12:13), and when you embrace that plan, everything else will fall into place (Proverbs 3:5-6).
In the meantime, I would suggest you tighten the reigns on your daughters. Make sure they are always within your sight. There is no exception. They may find it embarrassing when you observe and oversee their call to nature (and they, yours), but surely not as embarrassing when they find they must be in your eyesight even as your husband performing his marital duties to the Glory of God. They need to see you live your life for God and God alone, and that you will stop at nothing to ensure they know the Gospel Message. God will Sparta-kick them straight into the very Lake of Fire if they fail to obtain Salvation (Revelation 20:15).
Let them be embarrassed. Let them be horrified. Let them think you're being unreasonable and irrational. They need to understand that if they think it's awkward and uncomfortable to be watched all the time by you, they have forgotten that Jesus watches them all the time! But He doesn't just watch what they do, He can read their minds (Job 21:27)! He knows if they are feeling resentful (which means they are not grateful), or even doubtful (which means they don't really trust and love Him). There is no place they can hide from Him (Jeremiah 23:24)! There is no privacy from our LORD!
Praise Jesus!

Sister, this is not a difficult problem to solve and it is quite a common difficulty. It is natural for children to act up as they try to explore the world. The important thing is to avoid a recurrence. I advise beatings, promptly delivered and well laid on. These events are not a time for mollycoddling the youth. Further, I do not believe it is necessary to cause any permanent scars. They are very young, after all, and they may well grow up to be good Christians.
God Bless!

Sister Mary, thank you for the advice. I will search inside myself to see if I am leading a bad example.
Brother Alvin, my husband handles many of the beatings. I only lay hand if I am permitted. For example, I am forbidden to physically discipline my sons. What would we do if they thought a woman could overpower them? As for my daughters, I do hope their recent actions are put to a stop promptly.
Thank you for the advice!

Drop her off, tomorrow, Joanna. I'll handle her. May I have permission to Biblically discipline her, in loco-parentis, pretty much giving me the right to act as her parent during her time under my care. There I can discipline her as my pastor of a husband, and I see fit?
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth
P.S. I do spank girls. I don't spank the boys. But I'm perfectly capable of spanking ANY unmarried female, whether they are younger or my age. The older women though, I leave to the men. 1 Timothy 5:1

Of course you have full permission, Sister Elizabeth! Good practice for when your little one comes.

Joanna, good news! Your daughter came today, and I found her on my door step, behaving herself. Here's a picture of her bedroom. There is no mirror there, so she can't sin by being vain, at least that way. I put together a wardrobe for her; I mean no offense to you, but my pastor of a husband said that her skirts were too short for a young lady, and not modest enough; obviously I complied and got her another dress. So here's a picture of her dress. Also, she behaved decently, only earning a spanking for not responding fast enough. Here's a explanation of what punishment she will receive based off how she badly she obeys. Mind that all of these are with a paddle.
Breaks a dish, misses a spot of dust, or does not clean properly: 30
Disobeys me: 75
Disobeys my husband and pastor:250
Does not obey another female adult: 100
Does not obey another male adult: 250
Servile to the Negress: 25
Misquotes the Bible: 125
Breaks a commandment: 300.
We combine punishments, so when she disobeys me, she gets a total of 375, ect. While on the stricter end, we intend to beat Christian womanhood into her if we have to! Proverbs 13:24

Dear Mrs. Johnson, I hope your paddle is wooden, like the one my husband uses to paddle me.

Mrs. Johnson, Might I suggest the pictured bloomers for the young lady? Buttons in back make paddling easier.

I like the bloomers, but I'll modify them so that they look less slutty and come down past her knees. Here's the variety of paddles I use on her. I also have a riding crop and whip I keep handy. Generally, I don't need them.

That dress is absolutely lovely. I apologize for her short dress. I know exactly which one you were talking about, I had wanted to take it and pass it down to be used by one of her younger sisters (since it would be of appropriate length for them) but she must of sneaked it into her bags while packing. If you wish, please paddle her for going against me. I like those paddles you have! I trust that your husband and you will succeed in curbing her into a perfect Christian woman.

Joanna, I have not heard what your Husband did to rectify this situation.
Why is he not here posting?
My wife is forbidden to look at the internet or even use a computer. I am honestly not 100% sure she can even read or write.
Perhaps a little more beating and a little less interwebs missy.

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to respond to you...managing the women at my church, watching children, and spanking your daughter has taken up a good deal of my time, and my husband always comes second, but only second to GOD ALMIGHTY! I gave her a good spanking for the dress and gave her a lecture on modesty and made her read this written by Mrs. Etheldreda: http://landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=73341
Anyway, send me a check for $300 to Mr. Mark Johnson (I can't handle finances as a stupid woman) and I'll order for you two of the paddles I got that I showed you. I'll contact you when I think she is ready to be married. Also, my husband is wondering where was the check of $7,500 your husband agreed upon to send us for supporting your daughter and being able to cover the expense of her many sins is.
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

Brother Tree of Woe,
This is actually the only site my husband allows me post on. He also reads everything I write before I post. He is a busy man, providing for our large family and pleasing God in the process, and has declared he prefers to spend his time outdoors doing man's work rather than on the computer. Sister Elizabeth,
Both checks have been sent in the mail just a few days ago. You should receive them soon! I also completely understand your being busy! The arrival of our ( my husband and I's) next child should be quite soon and I have been preparing for and heavily praying for another son!

You two will be able to share baby photos. But please do it in the women's section and don't bore the men with them.

Joanna, I hate to bear bad news, but your daughter today, Rhoda, needed to be humiliated in a godly way. She kept on insisting that skirts at her ankles were far too long and was hiking them up, showing her knees. So my husband had her wear the most slutty thing I could find to church, and paraded her in public so she could learn her lesson (a few guys groped her, but my husband said she deserved it). He took her punishment straight out of Ezekiel 16 and so he said it was Biblical.
Given her behavior, no matter how many spankings, whippings and other punishments, she may be raped, and my husband and I cannot control that, as it is the Lord's will. So, if that be the case, I'll make sure she keeps her mouth shut, marries the rapist and will contact you. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 My husband plans on making the rapist pay double, thirty shekels for him, and thirty for your husband. I'll contact you if there is to be a wedding.
Yours in Christ,
Elizabeth

Maybe your daughters wouldn't act out if they were raised in a healthy non-religious enviroment
