The statement about the loss of the art in Anglican churches is correct and thank mitzalizalor for posting the beautiful picture of Lichfield cathderal it falls into the category of the surviving 5% (see Wells Cathedral also)
Now as you are almost Anglican (sharing the king James version) why the casual use of homophobic language? ( sissy, hommo etc) even if there is conflict do you have to express it? The Anglican church is much more relaxed about the gay issue, as they are about female teachers of scripture, how do you feel about female Bishops?

1. The Bible teaches us that homosexuals should be killed. No place where any homosexual of any "gender" is admitted, let alone welcomed or encouraged, is any sort of church. They might put a sign CHURCH but that is as meaningless as me putting up a sign ORTHODONTIST. Were I ever to attempt tooth-straightening the lie of my signage would become plain just as the lie of deriving any sort of authority from God becomes plain in the case of Anglicans upon reading The Bible.
