Now as you are almost Anglican (sharing the king James version) why the casual use of homophobic language? ( sissy, hommo etc) even if there is conflict do you have to express it? The Anglican church is much more relaxed about the gay issue, as they are about female teachers of scripture, how do you feel about female Bishops?

1. The Bible teaches us that homosexuals should be killed. No place where any homosexual of any "gender" is admitted, let alone welcomed or encouraged, is any sort of church. They might put a sign
CHURCH but that is as meaningless as me putting up a sign
ORTHODONTIST. Were I ever to attempt tooth-straightening the lie of my signage would become plain just as the lie of deriving any sort of authority from God becomes plain in the case of Anglicans upon reading The Bible.
OLD TESTAMENT . . . first, a simple statement from God that this abomination is wrong
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
KJV .. comparative texts just in case anyone suggests "Oh, that's not really about homosexuality" . context
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
KJV .. comparative . context
NEW TESTAMENT . . . women
Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . men
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
KJV .. comparative
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . God teaches us about the other characteristics of homosexual lifestyles
28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
KJV .. context
2. By the same standard, there is no such thing as a female bishop.

And before anyone gets started on the nongenderstereotypification drill, the possibility of bishops being married to one wife while being women themselves is precluded by the universal prohibition, above. These are not my "opinions" you will notice. These are direct commandments FROM GOD and I am happy to point out that in rejecting Him the Anglican—just as the Romish or Eastern orthodox—communion remove themselves altogether from anything which may be called a Church.
Do your homework. How many nations rejecting Him ever remain free?
Signage notwithstanding.
