Hey fool;
Who was being addressed in that verse?
What was the point being made?
Why didn't you post the book?

It's Galatians 3:23-29... It would have helped if you told us that. Also, what point are you trying to make by posting this scripture? We do appreciate citing scripture to support your point, but what is your point? The title of this thread has nothing to do with the scripture quoted. Please reread and reconsider.

I think the poster must be in a drug imposed stupor no one would just post a random piece of Gods word trying to make a point about nothing. I think we need to keep a very close eye on this person.
Remember this one thing brothers and sisters: KJV Proverbs 26:11 As a dog returneth to his vomit,

The challenge was to, "Point out one passage from the Bible that says women are to be treated as equally. Just one!!!"
So I did.
Pardon me for not listing the book and chapter and verses. but the fact remains that this scripture clearly states the equality of men and women in Christ.
That fact that Christ included several women amongst his companions, and in fact was partially supported by the financial gifts of women during his ministry, and first appeared to a woman after his resurrection, and called a woman a "daughter of Abraham" shows that his ministry is to women as well as men. The old ways are passed away. This is part of the reason why it is called a NEW covenant. It extends beyond just Jews. It extends beyond just men. It crosses class, and financial boundaries. It is the Universal Gospel.
Next time I will be more diligent in making my references.
Again, I apologize.

Yes, they are both able of being saved and going to heaven. That's what the passage says. Does it say anything about them being equal on earth? Do you ignore the rest of the Bible to look just at that one verse?
Just look at this: http://www.gotquestions.org/feminism...-feminist.html
What are the issues of feminism? Feminism is a counterfeit solution to the real issue of the inequality of women in a sinful society. Feminism arrogates to itself the right to demand respect and equality in every aspect of life. Feminism is based in arrogance and it is the opposite of the call to the born again believer to be a servant. The actions of the modern, militant feminists are geared to cause women to rise up and rebel against the order that God has given to mankind. That brand of feminism seeks to impose humanistic solutions that are in direct opposition to the Word of God. Feminism was originally a positive movement, focused on giving women the basic rights God intends for every human being to have. Tragically, feminism has gone past those roots to focus on destroying any trace of a distinction in roles between men and women.
What then should be the view of a Christian about feminism? A believing woman, who is seeking to obey God and walk in peace and grace, should remember that she has equal access to all spiritual blessings in Christ. "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28). A believing woman should not allow herself to be a pawn in the worldly agenda of the feminist movement. Men and women have a God-given privilege to fulfill the plan He has set for us. Rebellion against that plan, and the arrogance that seeks to put self above God's Word, results in very difficult consequences. We see those consequences in the destruction of the relationship between husbands and wives, the destruction of the family, and the loss of respect for human life.
"For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world" (1 John 2:16). The principles of the fall are present in this verse. Eve believed the lie that eating the fruit would bring her wisdom. She lusted and she took or arrogated to herself something that was forbidden. This is the basis for the feminist movement. Women have bought into the lie that feminism will bring them what they want, what they think that they "deserve." However, the promise is empty for the premise is based in pride and pride goes before a fall. "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18).

But not one amongst the 12 Apostles. Not one of them wrote a book of the Bible. Not one of them was in a position of leadership.

Yes, they were obedient onto Christ and so gave Him money. What's your point?

Did we ever say it wasn't? If it weren't, none of our wives or daughters would have to attend church

From the New Testament:
But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none.-- 1 Corinthians 7:29
The head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man.-- 1 Corinthians 11:3
For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.-- 1 Corinthians 11:7
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak.... And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home. -- 1 Corinthians 14:34-35
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord-- Ephesians 5:22
For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church.... Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.-- Ephesians 5:23-24
Let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. -- Ephesians 5:24
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands.--Colossians 3:18
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.-- 1 Timothy 2:11-12
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing.-- 1 Timothy 2:14-15
Teach the young women to be ... obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.--Titus 2:4
Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands.-- 1 Peter 3:1

I agree, it's the stupid liberals who hate women. Treating them as equals and allowing them to vote is really a form of hatred. Because voting booths usually smell like urine. And women hate that smell.
