I'm not a theologian, but sometimes politicians can help move along the great work of those who are. I don't know why I was invited to a high level conference of Baptist academics, maybe Pastor Zeke sent them my name. But, it was exciting to be there and bring the news back to Landover Baptist.
A Professor from Houston Baptist University said Baptists from across the country can turn back the tide of skepticism with more training. By training lay people, uninformed preachers and political leaders about what the Bible says we can stop youth from becoming skeptics.
So, I am helping the Professor set up Power Point training sessions all over the U. S. where the words of the Bible are shown on large screens. When a young person says, "I don't think it is possible Jesus was resurrected from the dead," this program will train people on what scripture to quote to the uninformed kid. When a child asks, "How do we know our sins are forgiven?" the correct scripture will be right on the tongue of the pastor or parent.
Technology is an exciting tool we can use to spread the Gospel.
