Re: Should I get a Tattoo? -

Kids shouldn't be getting tattoos in high school. They're distracting and disruptive to the educational environment. Here's a principal in Georgia who knows this and isn't afraid to speak up about it:
Quote:
Principal: Tattoos are disruptive
6:08 am EDT March 19, 2009
CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. -- Detectives in Carroll County are investigating allegations a school principal held a knife on a student as a joke. The student, a junior at Temple High School, talked to Channel 2 Action News reporter Jeff Dore Wednesday. Patrick Johnson does his school work at home these days instead of actually going to school. The problem at Temple High School, he said, involves the three tattoos on his arm and what he says happened in a school hallway Feb. 6."And the next thing I know, I felt something poking me in the arm and I looked over thinking it was one of my buddies, and it's Principal Nash standing there with a knife to my arm. He had a smile on his face and he said, 'You want me to cut that off your arm?' playing around about it," said Johnson.

He didn't report it for a month, until he told a school counselor who told his mother."I'm upset. I'm very upset about it," said his mother, Pamela Johnson. She told the central school office and the sheriff's office. The Carroll County Sheriff's Office confirmed other students were witnesses and all said Principal Chauncey Nash appeared to be joking, so there doesn't appear to be a case for an assault charge."I'm furious because had it been my son, he would have gone to jail immediately," said Pamela Johnson. The school system and the district attorney told Channel 2 Action News they are waiting for the sheriff's investigation report before deciding whether to take any action. Nash did not want to comment. In the meantime, Patrick's mother said, "I just prefer not to send Patrick back to school until something's been done."The sheriff's office said they expect to wrap up their investigation by Friday.

Someone needs to have some words with the mother, too. How are parents allowed to get away with letting their children disfigure themselves with these tattoos? Tattoos signify gang activity and these kids should be required to keep them covered up at school or risk having them removed by a laser which burns the design off the skin.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

This is for the women out there who are considering getting tattoos: men see women with tattoos as tramps and 'easy'. They don't respect them, and take advantage of them. A True Christian wants to meet a humble and respectful woman without any tattoos or body manipulations (piercings). Women should be spending more time on their hair and nails and less time contemplating tramp stamps or boob tats.
When I meet a woman I want to be as pure as the driven snow and not marred by dirty sexual tattoo imagery.
Anyone who is encouraging you to get a tattoo isn't looking out for your best interests. They're just trying to get into your pants.
WWJD? He wouldn't be getting a tattoo, that's what.
Just don't do it.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Good, solid advice, Brother Nobar!
In case it's not clear enough for the youngsters out there...

Sister Mary as you probably have never had a piercing you may not know that they don't always go away. The holes may not heal and they will still be there.
What then?

That boy is seriously deranged. His parents probably died in a car accident 5 seconds after he was born. Anything else can not explain his stupidity.
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
All of His children going to Hell? No. But most of them are. Certainly more than half! Papists? Going to Hell! Mooslims? Going to Hell! Atheisn'ts? Going to Hell! Boodists and Hindon'ts? HELL!
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
JESUS IS THE WAY TO HEAVEN! Praying to Mary isn't going to save your soul! Bowing down to Moohamhead isn't going to keep you out of eternal damnation! Pretending you don't believe in God isn't going to make Hell any less real! Praying to a fat Jap or an elephant? Don't even get me started!
So yes, a LOT of people are going to Hell. If you want to argue otherwise, provide chapter and verse from the Bible to prove your point!
As for judging people, if you read this like you were supposed to, you would have seen this where your whining about judging is answered. And trust me, you are FAR from the first person to whine because someone somewhere thought it said some place in the Bible that Christians shouldn't judge, and so you are far from the first person to be wrong about that.

Do you have scripture to back up your odd little post, dear? You seem quite upset about something, in an all-lowercase-angry-wee-gnat sort of way.

I am afraid to say that Mrs O'fagan has a tattoo of a butterfly on her lower back. She likes it. But I was considered holding her down and cutting it out. The pain would be intense but short compared to what she will suffer for eternity in hell. Will my act of love save her eternal soul?
Yours

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
I know God wouldn't let me believe in Him if He didn't exist.
