That is correct. We are on the same page here, except dietary laws and the keeping of Saturday (oops I shouldn't use that word as it has pagan roots!) as the Sabbath are specifically abolished.
Then why does the Bible say that we will be judged by our deeds?
Romans 2:5-6
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Matthew 16:27
27For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
