I agree with both of you, Brothers. It is just political correctness gone mad whatever way you look at it. These days, colored folks on stage and in the movies are always played by colored actors, not letting anyone else get a look in.
Look at the Shakespeare play Othello, for example. In the 1952 movie the leading role was played by Orson Welles:
In the 1965 movie it was played by Laurence Olivier:
(Such a handsome fellow - he reminds me of dear Dr Niles!)
Now this was as it should be, by tradition, as there were no African-American actors in England in 1603, when Shakespeare wrote the play.
But fast-forward to 1995 and look what we get - Laurence Fishburne!
And yet while they exclude our people,
still they complain and insist on being allowed to play Hamlet (a natural blond), Macbeth (probably a ginger) and, worst of all, Kings of England like King Lear and Henry IV Part 2.
Is this Christian behavior? I think not.
