Another hour, another Vatican't scandal -
01-27-2012, 01:34 PM
So what else is new?
Lie-beral "news" source:
Quote:
Corruption Scandal Rocks Vatican, Whistle Blower Archbishop Vigano Was Transferred Against His Will
By Philip Pullella
The Vatican was shaken by a corruption scandal Thursday after an Italian television investigation said a former top official had been transferred against his will after complaining about irregularities in awarding contracts.
The show "The Untouchables" on the respected private television network La 7 Wednesday night showed what it said were several letters that Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, who was then deputy-governor of Vatican City, sent to superiors, including Pope Benedict, in 2011 about the corruption.
The Vatican issued a statement Thursday criticizing the "methods" used in the journalistic investigation. But it confirmed that the letters were authentic by expressing "sadness over the publication of reserved documents."

Yet people still think that there's anything even remotely holy about the Roman institution.

You are so right, Pastor Peters.
The Roman institution should be walled off and treated like a jail--with all its criminals inside.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

The brainwashing is top notch in that place.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Typical of these pigs. "We're upset that you investigated us and we're sad that we got caught. It's all your fault that the Catholic Cult looks bad, not ours."

They couldn't even manage an "I'm sorry you feel that way."

Because they're not!
I still think Italy should repossess the Vatican't, sell off the artwork and real estate, and pay off its debts.

The irony, it burns! The Roman institution, the biggest con job in human history, has itself been ripped off.
From the JYT:
Quote:
In Million-Dollar Theft Case, Church Worker With a Secret Past
For eight years, the woman worked in accounts payable for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, gaining the trust of her superiors.
Colleagues praised her quiet dedication and hard work, and noted that she prayed often; her volunteer work at an event at St. Patrick’s Cathedral won mention in the church’s newspaper, Catholic New York. No one, then, questioned the hundreds of checks she wrote at the archdiocese to cover small expenses, like office supplies and utility bills.
On Monday, the woman, Anita Collins, 67, was charged with embezzling more than $1 million over seven years from the archdiocese.
* * *
When Ms. Collins was hired by the archdiocese in June 2003, it did not perform criminal background checks on prospective employees, as it does now, Mr. Zwilling said. So church officials were unaware until recently that she had been convicted of grand larceny in one case and had pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in another.

"It takes one to know one" evidently doesn't apply here.

Pastor Isaac, that's hardly surprising. The papists cultivate an atmosphere of secrecy and criminality that is only rivalled by their fellow guido sidekicks in the Mafia (and of course there is a lot of cross-pollination between the two syndicates).
Anyone who thinks the "pope" is anything other than Don Corleone in a funny hat and muumuu is a fool.

They are a nasty bunch allright.
Over here, these days we sometimes (very seldom) have screaming headlines like:
Quote:
NO NEW VATICAN/PRIEST SCANDAL TODAY!!
Rome, Italy, 31 Jan 2012
Reporters are investigating the lack of new scandals on Monday. Sources close to the Vatican say that this must be a lack of effort on the media's part, and that the Catholic church is in no way to blame.
"I was shocked to the core when I read my newspaper this morning." said Guido Fromaggio, a local salad bar owner. "I first thought I was losing it, or that my eyesight had gone, but further searches on Google seemed to back up the story."
Mr. Fromaggio was taken to the ER, but could leave a few hours later, after he swallowed a couple of valiums and calmed down.
Insiders expect the normal scandalitis to resume tomorrow.

You separated brethren are certainly putting your anti-Catholic bigotry on display, aren't you? Catholics are the truest Christians, but we are also imperfect human beings. Are you going to say that the same things don't happen in other religions?
Matthew 16:18-19: So I now say to you: You are Peter and on this rock I will build my community. And the gates of the underworld can never overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of Heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

Truest?
Can you define what you mean by this?

How can you say you are the truest Christians when you don't even worship Christ? You worship Mary!

I think he gets confused because an old man in a dress has told him it's true. Things like the assumption of Mary where she got sucked up into the sky. There is no biblical evidence for it, nobody even thought of it for a thousand years. Then it became a silly story and then in 1950 it became officially true.
They even think that Peter was their first pope. Their 'truest' church is founded on lies.

Peter?
Is this the same Peter that Jesus Himself compared to Satan in Matthew 16:23? No wonder the Catlick "church" doesn't want its followers to read the Bible!

Isn't Matthew 16:23 the Catholic Cult's foundational Scripture?
You know the homosexual God-mocking atheist sodofascists will say that "get thee behind me, Satan" means Jesus was a "bottom" who loved him some demonic pelvic thrusting.
