I believe you misunderstood Brother Montague; his wife Delores does not humiliate him. Were ever did you get that idea? Further more you keep on ignoring the point we have been making that since we love and respect our wives we treat them as God commands us to. That is why for example when Mss Worthington gets to gossipy or nags you can be sure Brother Montague makes sure she is wearing her shrew’s head costume to Church next Sunday so she learns to not give into sin like that.

I'm sorry but I have to agree with phoenix. Verable abuse on either part of the couple is not good. It can sometimes be worse than beating a person. With most beatings the wounds will heal but with verbal abouse the wound never really heals. Its always there at the back of ones mind and the realtionship in turn goes down hill from there.

p.s. I'm sorry I couldn't resist comeing in the um...men's only.

My wife Delores and I are very happy. We've been together for 29 blissful years. We have learned that in order to make a relationship work, there has got to be some give and take, cooperation, and compromise. For instance, I am not a fan of pot luck dinners, but Delores enjoys it when I accompany her to church for the pot luck nights every third Thursday. Conversely, I enjoy putting Delores on a leash while she eats dinner from her dog bowl on the kitchen floor.
