Is air conditioning Godly? -
08-17-2012, 02:00 AM
First of all my humblest apologies if this is in the wrong section. I don't see anything about air conditioning mentioned anywhere in the King James 1611 Bible so I assume it is a worldly, unGodly thing and as such should be avoided at all costs. Am I right for making this assumption? And if I am should I go tear out and destroy my central air conditioning unit as soon as possible? Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you all.
YiC,
John
Psalm 107
1 O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

AC wasn't like we have now back then. It would make no sense if the bible told us to stay in 100 degree temps everyday. Also just because it's not written in the bible doesn't mean it's automatically ungodly.

One might think you were a cathlic, trying to gain points for suffering in this summer heat.
There's no purgatory to try and weasel your way out of, friend.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

If God wants us to suffer from the heat of His wrath, we have to endure it. We should not try to find ways to cheat God. He made it hot for a reason. Probably to test the faith of those who make the huge mistake of listening to global warming liars.
Air conditioning is a trick from Satan to give you the illusion heat is something you can avoid. Once you are in Hell you know the truth and it will be too late.
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

My thoughts exactly. Thank you for reassuring me. First thing tomorrow morning I'm going to have my central air removed. Praise Jesus for having me realize air conditioning is a tool of Satan before it was too late!!

I think that air conditioning is okay, but only for saved True Christians.
Everyone else should have to endure the heat as a reminder of what's coming to them in eternity if they don't get right with GOD.

God never mentions A/C because there is no need for 'creature comforts' in Heaven. He has it set for a comfortable 69 all the time. God puts us through temperature fluctuations while mortals on Earth as a test for our fortitude and dedication.
If a person is commited to Jesus, God ensures a life of comfort and wealth. That means letting me cruise around on my Hummer with the emp inside to be set at a Godly 69, my comfort ensured, while my field hands are out in the fields in 105+ degree (120 perceived) temeratures.
Notice, Jesus has not melted at all. His hands still reaching towad out Heavenly Father.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Jesus hates smelly, sweaty people in his house.
That is why we have the best Air Conditioning system True Christian™ money can buy.
Isaiah 4:6
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.

Amen Brother Hutchins – God provides comfort to all True Christians™.
Quote:
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
