  • "Sacrament" of reconciliation

I'm sorry if this is old news to everyone else but years of catholic schooling made me a bit naive and I have to get it out of my system!

I went to a catholic school, way back before I found God, and we were forced to take reconciliation on a regular basis. It always bothered me. Some of that was because I didn't believe in God at the time but a far greater part of me just found the whole experience of confessing to a priest in order to be redeemed in God's eyes a bit silly.

Nowadays I understand that there is nothing special about this so called "sacrament" at all and that we can pray directly to God for forgiveness but still the bizarre catholic practice raised an eyebrow.

Recently, it finally clicked in my mind.

What do priests love more than anything? Molesting children.

And then I suddenly saw the brilliance of the whole thing: how better to groom children than to gain unfettered access to the darkest recesses of their minds? What better place to do it than the privacy of a confessional? What devoted catholic parent is going to perceive their child's gentle whimpering as anything other than the sound of repent? Many of these children probably don't have the courage to speak out against such a trusted figure, still more probably think the whole thing is simply a rock hard penance for their sins.

It's horrible to think that catholic parents and, in my case, catholic schools are willingly lining their children up like cattle for the prodding. They believe it's in the best interests of the kids which blinds them to the truth! The parents have a smile on their face as they send their little boys off to church to be taught why sodomy is bad. The teachers burst with pride in their brightest young girls as they send them in one by one to learn that catholics and condoms don't mix. And the worst part of it all is that they'll just be put back in those same positions over and over again until the authority figures in their lives realise what's going on.

I'm going to stop ranting now because I feel a bit sick. I can honestly say that for the first time in my life I'm glad I was an ugly child!
But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy. (2 Chronicles 36:16)

I feel your pain brother as I too was under the sinister influence of the bead slingers at an early age.

In addition to the famous "wafer" scam, the cathylicks have always had the "middle man" when is comes to their so-called "sacrament" of "confession". Even the joos know you have to eliminate the middle man to get a good price, and the cathylicks have had their corrupt system in place for centuries - scamming their "parishioners" untold sums of wealth by selling "indulgences". It's like the corrupt Obama administration giving waivers for ObamaCare to their crony union supporters.

Baptist's know they can talk directly with Jesus without going through a middle man (i.e. a cathylick "priest").

    Praise Jesus!
    Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
    ...and get off my lawn

The priests are hidden behind a lattice because they are masturbating inside the booth. Just think of all the lurid stories they must hear.

        Re: "Sacrament" of reconciliation

Like many of the lies of the Babylonian whore "church," the "sacrament" of penance/confession/reconciliation/whatever trendy name they call it this month bears just enough resemblance to the truth of the Bible to trap the unwary. I was also brought up in the talons of the Roman institution, and it troubled me greatly when I read the Bible for myself and came across this:

James 5:16: Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

At first glance, this may sound like what goes on in a confessional, but when you read carefully, you'll see that it's a different activity and for a different purpose.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
