  • How to Multiquote

    Dear Friends,

You asked how to multiquote. First, click the QUOTE button to reply to the post.

Let's say you get something like this. Ignore the hyphen, just putting that in so it doesn't turn into code.

    [q-uote]This is the first sentence.
    This is the second sentence.
    This is the third sentence.[/q-uote]

Now let's say you want to reply to each sentence individually. To quote something, just bracket it with [q-uote] and [/q-uote]. Again, ignore the hyphens. So:

    [q-uote]This is the first sentence.[/q-uote]

    Your response.

    [q-uote]This is the second sentence.[/q-uote]

    Your response.

    [q-uote]This is the third sentence.[/q-uote]

    Your response.

    Yours in Him,

    I think I got that.
    Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

      Re: How to Multiquote

You could always use the Multi-quote Button: multiquote_off.gif of each Post you wish to Quote from and then Click the Post Reply. The Button will glow red when active. This will give you the Reply Box to Edit your reply/replies into.
This does the same thing with the [quote] box already there plus the name of the person you have quoted.

If you wish to do it manually as Bob suggested you can also include the persons name or where the quote came from by using [q-uote=PDF] (as an example) at the start of each Multi Quote.
      This gives:

          Re: How to indent

          How to indent your quotes:

          Use the indent tool:
This is what the BB code looks like:

          That's simple enough.

            Re: How to Multiquote

I have a system for quoting outside sources: If it's from the Bible or someone that Jesus agrees with, it's red-state red: "I love America. I Hope Obama Fails"

If it's a socialist source, it's blue-state blue "I hate America. I hope Obama succeeds."

If it's a source that doesn't explicitly take side, usually the mainstream media, it's purple: "A recent poll found that Americans hate America and hope Obama will succeed."

There's nothing worse than reading something reasonable, agreeing with it, and then realizing that you just agreed with a socialist. That's why I color-code.
Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

I always thought the purple text was for hippies and liberals.

Colorizing your type certainly helps set it apart!
