Please, let me preface myself by saying, the questions I have are genuine and without sarcasm and I am not being facetious. Also, I did read all the FAQ's and while they did answer most of my questions, I am still left with a few.
As for an introduction, I'm a technical writer for a software company during the day and at night I teach calculus and physics as an adjunct professor. For play money I write science fiction and horror stories for various magazines, online and traditional print. Occasionally, I write technical papers for various peer reviewed science journals. If anybody is interested or curious, I'd be happy to provide links.
In way of spirituality, I consider it a journey, not a destination. I identify as a Zen Buddhist, Rinzai sect. For purposes of accuracy, Zen isn't a religion, it's more a philosophy. Buddhism however, is a religion. That being said, I also find some merit in the tenets of paganism, especially those which are congruent with the god of Spinoza.
Even at my advanced age (44) I still box as an amateur and I'll be taking a match in late February. I am one-half Native American (Little Axe Tribe) and one-half Norwegian.

I don't want to imply EVERYBODY on the board feels this way, however, I see some references to an aversion or rejection of, people with Down's Syndrome. (I'm referring specifically to a graphic showing a portrait of a person with the classic phenotype of Down's Syndrome with large, red letters atop of it, spelling out "REJECTED"). Why is that? I have read the bible cover to cover and I don't recall there being any reference to this.
Secondly, from what I've read on the site, most people (and again, I want to avoid making blanket statements) feel that our nation was a Divine Inspiration (capitals by me). If this were true, the Founding Fathers were very adamant about the separation of church and state. Is the general consensus that God intended Separation of Church and State or did the Founding Fathers disregard god's wishes?

Have you published anything in the most prestigious science fiction journals, Nature, Science, National Geographic or Cell perhaps? It is no shame being ignorant or uneducated but it would be a shame not to realize this sorry state and fail to remedy one's shortcomings. As Brother Zechariah pointed out, the best medicine against ignorance is the Bible but we're happy to contribute.

1. Down's Syndrome and related causes of the retard sin

It is well known among True Christians™ that these disorders are hereditary. It is equally well known that this is exactly what God and Jesus have promised for sinners.

Numbers 14:18
The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.

Deuteronomy 23:2
A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

This means that the repulsive sins of people are passed on. Infants are not innocent, they are stained by the sins since the Fall (Genesis 3:6). And secular atheist science has proven this. Many disorders including this mongoloidism have been proven to be hereditary exactly as God promised. They are passed on in the karyotype or the genes (for the uneducated, these are the parts of the body that pass on our characteristics but also our sin to our progeny). For instance, God has placed the Down syndrome sin into chromosome 21 or sometimes in a part of chromosome 21 translocated into other parts of the genome. Thus, the Bible is once again proven.

The problem, however, is not here but in the fact that these people and their relatives do not trust Jesus and fail to get a simple healing:

James 5:16
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

This means that Down syndrome as well as other disorders, diabetes, the metabolic syndome, osteoarthritis and osteosarcoma, are choices; it is a choice not to trust Jesus, not to believe Him, dismiss Him.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

2. The historical situation

As we know, in the late 1700's was such that the most influential religious organizations of that time were the Church of England, the Catholics, the reformed ones (Netherlands and Scorland), and Calvinists (France). Those were the ones with the most immigration to the Americas. You are making the equivocation fallacy of "Church"="anything that calls itself a Church". We know that it is not so. Most of the "Churches" have absolutely nothing to do with Christianity; obviously, we were around but a minority then as well as now. The founding fathers were, in fact, most prudent as they cleverly prevented these false religions from gaining too much power.

We get a lot of people asking these kinds of questions and it is always a grand thing to to test the limits of our ability to read the Bible(1611).

The Bible(KJV1611) is very clear on spastics and wierdos of all kinds.

Lev 21:18-21 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

So you see, this refers directly to the epicanthal folds of the Down's syndrome person with the blemish in his eye. This raises the obvious question of whether the Chinaman or Jap will get into Heaven too (but that would be off topic).

I'm proud to say that as Christian who follows the Bible(KJV1611) completely I have not had to entertain an original thought in years!

I appreciate your continued interest in the state of your Soul. It is a privilege to keep on treating your ignorance.

The journals I listed are the worst kind of fiction imaginable. The scholars who publish there may make reality-based observations (but not necessarily; check 2 Thessalonians 2:11 for details) but they use these data to promote their imaginary world that is constantly transmitted to them by Satan (but not exclusively; check 2 Thessalonians 2:11 for details). The fiction they write is clearly observable in their attitudes towards knows facts:

• They neglect God's cosmology (Genesis 1:6).
• They dismiss the separate Creation of Kinds (Genesis 1:11).
• They fail to see the obvious answers to their enigmatic lack of knowledge, such as the Flood (Genesis 7:10).

There is obviously another kind of science fiction, also, and you must be referring to it. While it is also revolting in its promotion of false prophets (Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein; 1 John 4:1), sodomy (The Lord of the Rings by Tolkien; 1 Corinthians 6:9), communism (The Mars Trilogy by Robinson; Mark 12:17) and Satanism (all works by Dawkins; Judges 10:6), at least everyone can see through these hastily stitched and implausible space operas.

It is different with Nature and Science. Apparently, they are not the easily recognized form of fiction. There's only a little dialogue and the plot is poorly constructed. This prevents people from seeing the real plot, that of trying to usurp Jesus. God will not tolerate that!
