One can argue that wealth and power are not always good things. Wealth and power can make us greedy and corrupt us. America may be the world power for now. But who's to say they will be in the next 50 years? The British empire was queen of the world for some times before the great war, alongside the tzar empire, Ottoman and the Austro-Hungarian. One can argue this point either way. But I thank you for not just shouting at me, and trying to address my question. hum.. much to think about.

English comes from England. And the most Americans I have met in person find it hard to complete sentences, and end each sentence as though it was a question! which evidently the Americans on here do not do.Besides many peoples of Europe speak English as a second language (myself) And I would say we are doing a fine job of it.

>>English comes from England<< Debatable. Who the hell taught you to say "shan't". It is supposed to never be used these days. You must be a foreigner. I suppose you try to distinguish between "shall" and "will" too. Take my advice, young woman, never take any schoolteacher seriously, and ESL teachers least of all.
And stop the nonsense about everything having to be literally mentioned in the Bible. There are occasions when we can infer matters from what is said in the KJV1611. Of course God was not going to make a book that covered every tiny little point. He aimed it at those with some brains, not foriegners. And it was not written by an Englishman, it was inspired by God -- he guided the hands and minds of those who transcribed the KJV1611.
The Godly Pastors and Elders of Landover (and one or two others) have been imbued with the give of understanding and ministery, and such are to whom you should go if you are in doubt.
Your spirit of rebellion and refusal to accept the Word of God is indicative of the fact that Satan has his horns, metaphorically speaking, firmly fixed in your hiney. The demons of stubbonness and disrect for you elders also have you in a half-nelson (each on one arm). Only Jesus can Save you Alexis, only Jesus. Repent and give your heart to him before it is too late.
Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I have not dared to show my face back here, my own thread, in some time now, because this super-hussy 'Anorexia' has been all over it arguing Theology with our Church Men!
Missy - Please! Cease and Desist with all of this before the Men begin to somehow blame me for all of this! And I won't get my Chocolate Jesus or my Easter Ham this year! Think of Karen Carpenter!!!!!
Just "Let Go and Let God" okay? And if that doesn't work for you, we might dig even deeper (usually better left to the Men) and ponder, "What Would JESUS Do?"
Oh my GOD I am just so FACED about all of this! Right here on my very own thread!

No, I wouldn't say "shan't" is incorrect at all. It's just that it is very English English -- BBC type pratt talk -- or even slightly old-fashioned. You'll find it in Jane Austen and other books of that type, but I don't think that you'll hear it often in God's own language American (instead of 'will') and especially not colloquial American. As a contraction of "shall not", it is perfectly acceptable, but 'shall' itself, although not what I'd call "incorrect", is not often used by native speakers outside the south of England, except in questions like 'shall we dance?'.
There is a "rule" about the difference between 'shall' and 'will' but it is a disputed one. The 'rule' is a grammarian imposed one and the short version of it often taught is worse than useless. Few native speakers ever follow the rule in practice. I certainly don't and I doubt anyone else here does. What use is a rule that most native speakers -- including greats of the language (and Winston Churchill too, ignore?).
"Shall" is used in legal documents to indicate compulsion and requirement, but that's a quite different situation.
For practical purposes such statements as:
"I will go" and "I shall go", are identical, with the use of 'shall' diminishing, especially outside the South of England.

This makes much sense. Our school mistress was very oldfashioned british woman. Most europeaners learn a sort of American style of english and therefore many of them have a slight American Accent rather then the English one that the girls in my school have picked up. Generally I prefer to say will and write shall as will is more easier to speak. But thankyou for that advice.

Jesus taught that it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter Heaven. All these "fair trade" schemes are doing is endangering these poor children's chances of getting into Heaven by burdening them with unwanted wealth. We would protect the poor boy by buying the cheaper chocolate.

Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
See? The souls of lazy porch-sleeping mud people have nothing. That seems pretty clear to me.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

This is why the KJV1611 uses "shall" (in the middle-English form "shalt") frequently. It is indicating a command. "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's ass." (A verse Ted Haggard might have reviewed more frequently.) "Will" indicates intent.
As recently as 1980, Strunk and White (Elements of Style, 3rd Edition, 1979) expressed the difference so:
A distressed swimmer cries, "I shall drown; no one will save me!" The swimmer doesn't intend to drown.
A suicide cries, "I will drown; no one shall save me!" The suicide does intend to drown.
See the difference?

It's just typical of people like you that as we approach the saddest day in the history of mankind; the anniversary of the mutilation, torture and temporary death of Sweet Baby Jesus, that all you can think about is eating chocolate bunnies. Will you be having sex with your brother on Easter too?

You aer deliberately missing the point, which is par for the course. Pagan celebrations of the changing of the seasons (such as the celebration of the vernal equinox) were going on long before the birth of your Jesus. It is those celebrations with their fertility symbols of rabbits and eggs that Christians co-opted into their Easter celebrations. Even the name Easter is derived from the goddess Oestre (as is the word oestrus, referring to sexual heat in animals). Easter is all about sex, my man - get over it and get it on!

Bunnies are unclean!!!
Leviticus 11:6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
Or at least they were...
Acts 10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
Chocolate bunnies are not mentioned.

I never said they were in the Bible. But every Christian church in town has Easter egg hunts on the front lawn for the little kids after Sunday School on Easter Sunday morning. They're stealing a pagan idea, the pagans aren't imposing it.

Then they obviously aren't Christian churches, now are they?
Which is what we've been saying all along.

Our pet bunny is quite clean, thank you very much. He has a spacious hutch that is far enough up off the goround that he doesn't get splashed with mud when it rains and he doesn't pick up fleas from the grass. I shovel the pellets out from under his hutch every day and compost them into the garden.
