Hello every good citizen of the world. I just got here by accident browsing the web.

As a former christian I can understand everyones opinion. But I have one thing to say: How can you judge music by their sound. cause lets face it. Most of the people who replied here haven't even heard 1 sond of slayer. And if they did, they didn't read their lyrics and just judged by their sound.

And ok. even if you did read the lyrics you can say: their not christian because they sing about the bad things the bible forbids. But it is in the human nature to talk or sing about things they actually don't want to do. Or just can't do without consequense.

Anyways. To get to my point I see alot of hatred in this topic. non believers versus believers. And the one thing I have to say is that the believers are too agressive because they care about their fellow human and want them to end up in heaven like themselves believe they will end up in. And the non believers just laugh at your comments because they can't believe you believe that nonsense.

in the end its like this: the non believers post comments and don't really care because the believers can't convince them anyway. and the believers get pissed because the non believers don't get saved.

And that's what I like about non believing. I just don't care. I listen to slayer. Hell I even listen to decide which is unlike slayer a real satanic band. But I don't care. I just listen to it because I like the sound. I don't care about the lyrics, I care about the feeling it gives me. And it makes me feel great.

And people that don't understand why I steppd away from christianity may aks me why and I will give you three questions god couldn't answer for me. If you can answer them for me without saying: god works in mysterious ways. I will believe in a god again.

untill then I will be an happy atheist enjoying my life without having to worry wether a movie or band is good or bad for me.

Judging by their artwork they appear to be some kind of nazi/satanist beat combo. I believe at least one of them may be a catholic so that probably explains the nazi link.

yeah so what i had posted was from Oh, Sleeper a christian band and the part that says "i'll cut off your horns" is at the end of a song called the finisher when God cuts off Satan's horns.

the next part, is God saying to Satan that with only a breath he could snap his neck.

again the next one is God saying that He is not going to tolerate Satan blocking the view of His people and will cut him down. the rip out your knees part. well we as Christians bow to God and Satan is comamnded by Jesus hense why we can say to demons in the name of Jesus.

the next is the singer asking God to take all of that away from him because he doesn't want it anymore.

the next is from the marriage of steel and skin and is about a priest/ father/ rev. pastor. who finds out that his daughter had sex and he is going to punish the boy who did it.

the last quote was from the song the family ruin, and is about the girl who kills her father, and God is telling her that she can't go back and change what she has done but will show her love, and mercy that she didn't show to the father.

and the very last part was french.

Jesus said that 'we will know them by their fruits' in other words by the way a person lives... not by the things they say! How many people know that when you go out on the streets to witness that many people will say things like "yeah I fornicate, yeah drink and take drugs" but I love Jesus in my heart.. which is a big fat lie because if they did they would say or do what they do; as a man thinks, says and does.. that is what he really is and what Slayer sing about is what they really are (we should pray for all of them to get saved and turn from Satan).
