Ex-Gay Republican Runs For Missouri Governor! -
07-25-2015, 05:38 AM
Praise Jesus! We need more Godly men like Missouri State Senator Bob Dixon to take the reigns of power in America. I'll ask you all to Pray HARD for him to become Governor of Missouri.
Quote:
Missouri GOP candidate for governor: I was gay until ‘religious experience’ saved me
A Republican Missouri state senator threw his hat into the ring on Monday, announcing his run for the governorship by citing — among other things — his “23 years as a strong supporter of traditional marriage.”
According to the Riverfront Times, what State Senator Bob Dixon didn’t mention at his press conference was that he lived his life as a gay man for five years before having a “religious experience” in October, 1988.
Dixon had previously discussed his earlier sexual orientation at a Springfield city council meeting in 1991 without describing the specifics of the religious experience that set him off on a different path. Since that time he has married a woman, had three kids and served as a Missouri lawmaker for 15 years.
“It is my faith in God that helps me to daily set the compass,” Dixon said during his announcement. “I hope the people of Missouri will accept my record of service as a reflection of my faith in the Almighty, because that frankly is at the core of what I do.”
According to Dixon’s mother, Jean Dixon , she waged a battle as a lawmaker against Missouri State University’s 1989 production of the AIDS drama The Normal Heart in part because of her son’s homosexuality.
Dixon said her son attempted suicide prior to his gay conversion, while admitting that — for her — it was difficult to accept his homosexual lifestyle.
“It had been a heartache I had to deal with, and it was a tough one,” Jean Dixon explained.
In his first ad, Dixon describes himself as a “Grandson of Democrats, son of Republicans, and lover of liberty.”
Speaking with the Riverfront Times, Dixon did not deny his 1991 comments, and said that he would issue a statement at a later time.

Thank God for his conversion, otherwise he'd be just another fag democrat campaigning from a restroom stall in some truck stop... and America doesn't need any more democrats.

It's a good thing Springfield Missouri's gay scene is so lame, otherwise this fine man might have been tempted into a short but permanent life of sin, followed by an eternity of hellfire.

“It is my faith in God that helps me to daily set the compass,” Dixon said.
That is just what it takes to be straight. You have to be strong. Impenetrable. Constantly vigilant. One gay thought can cause trauma to the soul that is impossible to reverse without Jesus. It may start by just glancing at the lifeguard's trunks, or catching a whiff of your roommate's underwear drawer. Before you know it, you are in the middle of a bukkake party covered in open sores and diseased old men turning your anus inside out. It is disgusting, really. But you have to fight it.

Billy Bob, it's true - we are all one tequilla shot away from lying face down on a slab of slate in a darkened basement in a random city, hands and legs chained apart with butt cheeks splayed open, high on methamphetamine for 72 hours straight while being subjected to the sicknesses and sociopathologies of unknown men.
This is the basic urge that all heterosexual men such as ourselves resist.

Even further proof that someone can overcome their desires for sin and immorality and embrace Jesus if only they would put their mind to it. Homosexuals like to pretend that it is something beyond their control, when in reality this just proves that they don't have the willpower to overcome their propensity.
Kleptomaniacs have urges to steal, alcoholics have urges to drink, pedophiles have urges to rape, everyone, even Jesus, went through temptation. What matters is having the will power to avoid indulging in your sinful habits.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Now this is truly uplifting. To see a man cast away his horrible and sinful life is an awesome site. It just fills my heart with joy.
One less queer for them.
One more great STRAIGHT man for us.
When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets. Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her. Deuteronomy 25:11-12

The future Governor of Missouri was abused by liberal parents, which turned him queer.
Quote:
Republican candidate claims child abuse made him an ‘evil’ gay
Bob Dixon recently told voters that the sexual abuse from liberal parents he suffered as a child led him live as an active gay man for over five years.
However, Mr Dixon now claims to have “overcome” his homosexual tendencies with the help of religion, promising he will “not allow the evil to win.”
Dixon – the Republican candidate for governor of Missouri – revealed back in 1991 that he had lived as a gay person for five years from 1983 until 1988, before undergoing his “religious awakening”.
However, after his opponents attempted to use his past admissions against him, Dixon released a statement putting his “teenage confusion” over his sexuality down to the abuse he suffered in his childhood.
In the statement – seen as a bid to rally the support on conservative voters – Dixon said he had now put the “confusion” behind him, used what was “intended for harm” to do “untold good”.
Speaking of the abuse and his sexuality, the married father of two daughters continued: “I have overcome, and will not allow evil to win.”
“There are people who to this day try to turn politics into a blood sport. This sort of approach discourages many good people from public service.
“While it is disappointing, I will have no fear of those who wish to tear down others for their gain. I will have no part of it.”
In his campaign announcement, Dixon took the chance to emphasise on his “core” conservative voting record, reports The Advocate.
“I’m 100 percent pro-life,” he reminded viewers.
“I’m a strong supporter of the the Second Amendment, actually I’m a strong supporter of the whole Constitution. And I’ve spent about the last 23 years as a strong supporter of traditional marriage.”
According to a poll carried out in the US earlier this month, he is not the only one, with almost two-thirds of Republicans opposed to the Supreme Court’s decision to back same-sex marriage.
However, they would struggle to make opposition to same-sex marriage successful in next November’s presidential election as more than half of American’s support the decision, the survey revealed.
Despite this, the clear majority of Republicans, 63 percent, still think that the Court’s decision last month to legalise same-sex marriage was wrong.
