What a load of nonsense! We follow only the purest logic, as deviating from the KJV1611 Bible is the most illogical thing anyone could ever do.
So now that I've completely put that argument to bed forever, let's talk about history and tradition.
Whose history and tradition?
"[A]ll Catholic popes are officially considered successors to St Peter, in the apostolic tradition -- and that great basilica at the Vatican is named after Peter the Apostle -- Basilica St Peter, catholicism's most sacred shrine."
Officially, you say? Officially by whom? By the themselves, of course. There is no great Council Of Denominations that keeps track of these things. I don't know much about the Greek Orthodox "Church" other than they are not Baptists, but I'm sure they would disagree with this "officially" nonsense. I guarantee you Baptists don't see them as such. There is certainly no direct line between Peter and the catlicks, and no indisputable historical record after the Bible.
And what does naming their satanic temple after Peter have to do with anything? If it was built and blessed by Peter himself, then you'd have something, but anyone can build something and give it any name they want.

Peter, who walked with Jesus, was executed and martyred at that location, and later the Basilica was built around the site of the obelisk -- so it is a shine in honor of St Peter -- and the tradition has been maintained for centuries -- what more could you possibly want?
1st Timothy 2: 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1st Timothy 2: 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works ...
1 Timothy 5: 16 If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed ...
Proverbs 31: 26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness ...
Proverbs 31: 27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness ...

Says who? Oh, that's right.. the cathylicks do. Guess that must make it true eh?
And I can't talk to you more now, as I'm off to ask a neo-nazi about the holocaust, as I am sure that will give me the truth of the matter.

Remember that I'm not a Catholic, I'm an Anglican --
You know of course that I am not going to abandon my ministry as an Anglican, and will not just throw away all the history and tradition of centuries as if none of it matters --
Never mind that I took Jesus as my saviour years ago, that Jesus himself knows that, and our relationship is between Jesus and me -- whatever my faults, I have faith the Lord will deal with me as he sees fit --
Now you don't believe it, of course -- but so be it, I do respect what you think you believe, because that too is between you and God.

What's the difference?
You're both going to hell for violating God's commandments.

But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

I know the historic fact that Peter was never in Rome, nor did he preach to gentiles.
And I know the historic fact that the cathylicks have always claimed he did, even though it is untrue.
And I know it's their tradition to claim this, and to claim that he is buried under their idolatrous "church" in Rome, even though it is untrue.
So I'm not throwing anything away, I'm just telling you what's what.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; But he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?
And in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I know that God is true but every man a liar.. (Romans 3:4)
So I rather believe what God has said in His Word, the Holy Bible, and He says that one like you, that keep not the commandments, is a liar:
So it's either you or God who is.. are you calling God a liar?
Get back into the kitchen, woman. It's not fit for you to try and teach as you are feeble minded and easily deceived by the devil.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
1 Timothy 2:14
Praise Jesus!

Did you really just equate Catholic tradition and Catholic history with logic?

Friend, when Jesus kills you for blaspheming against Him, I could relieve my bowels all over your grave, then call it the shrine of "minister" Noddy and Big Ears too, but would that mean you endorsed it?
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Of course he was. I remember a year ago or so, when you quoted from the book "Eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven" by Uta Ranke-Heinemann - proving that the celibacy practiced by Catlicks is simply a linear descendant of the cultic castration practiced by various PAGAN cults in the Roman empire.
Here's an illustration from 1475-1480 showing how a Cybele's priest (complete with tonsure) castrates himself:
The book is by Augustinus, La Cité de Dieu, and you can get a larger image here.
Here's a picture from the same book showing 4 priests castrating themselves simultaneously (Cybele and the pope must be proud):
There's a larger version here and more examples here and here.
Sometimes you wonder how Catholicism is able to spread so fast.
1st Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1st Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
1st Corinthians 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

Not early Christians, early Catholics. Big difference.

And I could "identify myself" as a Ukranian sailor, but that wouldn't mean I'd caught VD off you, would it?
