How can a person be a Christian and a midget at the same time? -
04-15-2015, 07:59 AM
I was in the midget lifestyle for more than half of my life until I came to know Christ as my God and Saviour.
I repented of all my sins including sins of dwarfism, asked God's forgiveness and received Jesus as my God, Saviour and Deliverer.
With my daily walk with Christ, constant prayer, reading the Bible daily and I stayed away from the midget lifestyle and I fully surrender my life to Christ, amazing changes came into my life.
No longer have I the desire to go to dwarfism places and I did not even watch the dwarf pride parade anymore because I know God is not present in such display of wickedness.
The transition period from dwarfism to normal life I thought would be the hardest thing to do but because I fully surrender to Christ, I live now in peace and contentment.
I am happier now being with Christian people who are tall. My desire now is to serve Christ and proclaim His Gospel of salvation to all midgets I know.
I don't agree that a person can be a Christian and a midget at the same time. They contradict each other. The Bible is very clear that dwarfism is an abomination and now that I am a Christian I should abide in God's word, obey what He says in the Bible.
I did that before (being a Christian and a midget at the same time) but I feel there is something wrong with it. As I read the Bible, I found out I can't serve two masters.
I have to choose so I chose Christ and abandoned the midget life and Christ himself says that not everyone who call Him Lord will enter the kingdom of God, only those who obey His will. Matthew 7:21.
His will is not to commit sins, dwarfism is included, 1 Samuel 16:7 and Leviticus 21:17-23.
It will be impossible for me to profess to know Christ if in my lifestyle I contradict His words.
A midget who truly repented will be of normal height and should not go back to the dwarfism lifestyle. She is a new creature in Christ, old things have passed away and all things become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17.
To be a Christian and a midget at the same time is unBiblical.
Paying for the sins of my hateful parents since pre-birth. Jeremiah 32:18. Now cooking for Jesus as inspired by Deuteronomy 8:3.

I am glad you decided to stop being an ugly smelly dwarf and became a decent tall white Christian instead! Instead off all these naysayers who claim being a dwarf is something you are born with, you just proved that with prayer everything is possible! Apparently all these idiots who claim you're born with it don't realize that all babies are small. Becoming a dwarf is a choice made later in life just like the choice to become gay or the choice to rape America by voting for Hillary Clinton.
I wonder, did you burn your house down or is the filthy stench of dwarfism still in your house?
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

This is yet more proof that with Christ, EVERYTHING is possible. No exceptions.
Eat your heart out, Atheists!!
I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen
Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

Right you are Midge! You have no idea how uncomfortable it was to be around you before you let God come unto you.
We'd be at a bar-b-que and you'd bump that over sized head into me, over and over. It was not your fault, midgets are naturally clumsy and move best by tumbling. I, always looking to God in the Heavens, simply never saw you over and over.
I do apologize for that time I set my cock-tail on your head, I do hope it did not leave a ring.
All that is 'water under the bridge' now that you have repented your sinful life and Given yourself completely and unqualified to Jesus. A Christian can look you in the eye and feel secure with your resolve not to pull any monkey shines. and walk like a normal person.
You are the epitome of Gods Love. Proof that prayer cures all.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Oh Midge, your testimony was beautiful and powerful. As read it, I imagined it as it would sound in your tiny cute voice. It put me in mind of the secular Charles Brown special at Christmas when they put the spotlight on the small child and he begins to speak of Baby Jesus.
There are tears in my eyes as I type. Thank you, Midge, for sharing.

Amen and AMEN!
Midge, your testimony is like music to my spirit! I too know the struggle of letting go of sin in order to embrace Christ. I once had a really difficult nail-biting habit I had to break, and after prayer and studying the Scripture, He delivered me of this terrible sin just like He delivered you!

That was wonderful testimony. I'll bet you talk like one of those chipmunk cartoons.
Interesting for a few seconds, but irritating pretty quickly.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Yes! I can see how similar the concept of sin is to karma. The things that have been taking place before our time are still affecting us and they will be having effects on our children, too. It is the same. Yes. I am thinking that through kindness and non-violence we can resist all this ballast that is pulling us down. At school we have a child that is of short stature and always will be. She hopes to become a medical doctor. Yes, I have been saying. You can become anything.
Our faiths are again very similar. Yes. It must be that we are all looking at the truth but from slightly different directions. Yes, this is wonderful.

No. Our faiths could not be more different. You worship 1,001 demons, while we worship Jesus.

I have never, ever seen a dwarf cured of dwarfism by a faith healer. What more proof do you need that dwarves have NOT repented their sins and accepted Jesus as their Savior?

By attending a midget church, obviously.
And midgets are people like me and you, just shorter than normal. Is that a reason to hate on them?

God hates all forms of retardeds and cripples. That's why He sent Jesus to heal a few of them. Only thru Christ Jesus can you be cured of your lifestyle choice.
It's in the Bible.

Two things arise:
(i) That's a bit like saying a yacht is a like a bowling ball except a bowling ball doesn't float.
(ii) I know it grieves Pastor Zeke and all of us here that we despise midgets, but The Lord's Commands are not eay to follow, for if they were, we would all be going to heaven, and that would never do, would it?

Brother Bathfire I have to agree 1000%!!! Now that’s not to say midgets aren’t funny to look at or even have around. I once knew this Irish midget named Patrick. Now he drank quite a bit and rode a bicycle. I guess you know where I’m going with this but boy was it funny to watch him fall down and not be able to get back up with those pudgy little arms and legs waving around and the bike was a whole different show in itself!!!

I think I adopted the dwarf lifestyle because if the slapstick-style humor inherent in daily life. People used to say to me "I don't care if you FEEL like a midget on the inside, just don't act like one."
But this was the fun part!! Climbing up on a toilet like a spider monkey and letting my legs dangle over. In a public toilet, no less. Watching people almost sit on me on an airplane. The looks on people's faces at the bank when the lady goes "Next! Next!" and the buy behind me won't step up but she can't see me down there, and then my little pudgy hand reaches up holding a check to cash and she gets all embarrassed!! Fun times!!
And then I found Jesus. First, I stopped acting like a dwarf in public. I practiced sitting on barstools, going up stairs, wearing clothes from the adult section of K-Mart. Soon, with prayer and meditation, I no longer FELT like a midget and I no longer WAS a midget. I am 5' 8" now, and proud of it, praise Jesus. I am no longer even tempted to scootch the seat up when I drive my car.
Paying for the sins of my hateful parents since pre-birth. Jeremiah 32:18. Now cooking for Jesus as inspired by Deuteronomy 8:3.

What an inspiration you are! I hope your example shines in the dark, sin-encrusted hearts of foul heathens everywhere so that they can see the practical application of putting off one's old sinful ways, and putting on the New Man! Your New Man is beautiful Midge, and I for one am happy to no longer have to suffer that stumpy old one (that midget thing was more than a little creepy, the humor notwithstanding).
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Ephesians 4:22-24

I think my allergies are probably hereditary. I've been praying for God to heal them, because I hate having to take allergy medicine, which I regard as just another type of mind-altering substance.
Maybe I just need to step out in faith and stop taking the meds, no matter what.
