The movie "Noah" banned in Freehold -
03-29-2014, 07:18 AM
Great news, we did it!
Quote:
Des Moines, IA
The movie "Noah" will not be shown at Freehold movie theatres. This comes after a decision by the Freehold City Council to outright ban the movie from being shown in any form in the City of Freehold, known for being the home to the controversial and infamous Landover Bapist Church of which the vast majority of Freehold residents are members of. "This is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment", says Des Moines film critic Jay Hansen, who along with other moviegoers and anti-censorship activists plans to protest the decision outside the Freehold City Council next week. However even this protest is in jeopardy as it may violate the Freehold anti-protest law that came into force 2011 in order to stop the Occupy Freehold movement.
The reason for the ban is because the Freehold City Council deemed it as "satanic, sinful, un-Godly and un-Biblical" after a private screening by the G.A.P.E ( Gentlemen Against Pornographic Exhibition). The council held a referendum where 96.77% of Freehold residents voted yes to ban Noah, 2.51% voted against. Voter turnout was 83.1%. The referendum has been called unconstituional by Des Moines mayor Frank Crownie and Governor Branstad.
"This is a huge victory for our Christian values and most of all, freedom of religion", says Freehold mayor Johny Joe Hold. The ban was greatly welcomed by Church members, who aggressively teared down all the posters and all other things related to the film within city limits, which was later all thrown onto a great bonfire outside the Landover Baptist Church where Freehold residents and Church members laughed and cheered over what they see as a victory over sin. "How any of this can happen in today's America is beyond me", says Toronto based Canadian human rights activist Mike Hawkee.
After a recommendation by the infamous Pastor Ezekiel Flint and the G.A.P.E association, Mayor Hold decided that instead of Noah, The Passion of the Christ will be shown the whole week, all families invited.
To watch or in any kind of way possess the movie "Noah" is now punishable by up to 2 years in prison within the City of Freehold. This also includes any kind of private media.

Thank you for a job well done, Ex-Viking. We will have a wonderful weekend watching again the beautiful film of Jesus showing his love by being whipped.
Freehold is the only city in Iowa so far to ban Noah. Maybe some of my Christian brother Mayors will get with the program.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Ken Ham and I screened the movie, and we both hated it. Maybe the worst movie since The Magic Christian.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

As far as I heard, God is not even mentioned in this movie
Noah was a God-fearing True Christian ™ manly man who followed God's word to the letter, infact one of the persons that I look forward the most to meet in Heaven. He was the kind of guy who would discipline His wife and without doubt stone someone for picking up sticks on a sunday. Much like the Landover Baptist Church, He was hated by His surroundings for His faith. They ridiculed Him for building a boat on land. Much like the LBC and its members, He was probably seen as a hater and bigot, but little did they know that He was right, and everyone else was wrong. He and His family went to Heaven, and everyone else drowned and went to Hell.
The story of Noah tells us that we should follow God's words to the letters, and that if God talks to us in our heads, we should listen to it and do exactly what He says, no matter how "crazy" it may sound.
Noah did not pay any respect respect to faggy animal rights, and sacrificed animals for the Lord, which is without doubt censored away from this un-Godly movie
Genesis 8:20
And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

Besides not mentioning God, the movie should have included some discussion of homerism. Something like Noah instructing his sons, "Make sure there are no male pairs let aboard the Ark."
Just ignoring the entire issue teaches the public nothing about sin.

Given Noah's sons' fascination with their dad's tallywhacker, it's probably best that he didn't talk to them about things like that.
