Why not read multiple versions of it for free? I strongly recommend the King James, but you might start with an easier one your first time around.

Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Is it because I said I am willing to read the Bible that you accepted me as a member D?
I didn't lie but still I think that's the reason.
Ps. I heard that the KJV is a lot easier, could this be wrong?

Pastor Levi sees the good in just about everyone, even mooslims.
(Psalms 25:7) "Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD."

Well try to tell someone to 'stop drinking alcohol' and see what will happen. You think he will stop? Of course not. Many people find it almost impossible to stop drinking alcohol. Pagan Arabs drunk alcohol. Telling them to stop at ones was never going to work. God allowed men to drink but as the time passed most actions that were the cause of alcohol were NEGATIVE. So slowly but surly people started to understand that alcohol brought more problems than it brought positive results. THEN new chapters of the Quran were revealed prohibiting intoxication.

So, the verses that were written later are more true. Again, we agree.

That is an outright lie. The Arab slave trade did not end until the 20th century largely by pressure of Great Britain and France to end it.
Quote:
The Arab slave trade was most active in West Asia, North Africa and East Africa. By the end of the 19th century, such activity had reached a low ebb. In the early 20th century (post World War I) slavery was gradually outlawed and suppressed in Muslim lands, largely due to pressure exerted by Western nations such as Britain and France. However, slavery claiming the sanction of Islam is documented presently in the African republics of Chad, Mauritania, Niger, Mali and Sudan.

Pastor Levi (like most Pastors) has the uncanny ability to see potential, perhaps because he has the Ear of God.
Being made a forum member carries great responsibility. Please, do not embarass the Godly Pastor.
The KJV is the easiest it can be. God wants to put all the cards on the table, have nothing up his sleeve. Simply follow His simple instructions and you might be assured a spot in Heaven.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

That it lasted until the 19th century isn't a lie, I even read this in Wikepedia! And don't say that Muslims are still have the slavery. Do you see Muslim ships transporting people from Africa to their country to sell them? I don't think so!
You don't seem to undestand what I am trying to say about the Quran (u just mock at it). I said many times, please go and watch on Youtube the Ahmed Deedat videos.

Dear Christians
What do you think about women covering their heads. Is this good/normal?
Or do you think that it shows less 'humanity' for women?

Greetings, I am so pleased that Jesus has sent you to our forum and I'm sure that with our guidance that it won't be long before you accept Jesus Christ as your personal savior. GLORY!
I have a question for you. We spend a lot of time dealing with spherical Earth theorists .
As you believe that the Qur'an is the devine word of your inerrant god I assume that you will be supporting us on this issue.
Surat Al-Hijr 15:19 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.
Surat Taha 20:53 He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky.
Surat Nuh 71:19 And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet.
Since carpets are flat with four corners can we rely on you for your support against the gullible spherical Earthers?

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
I know God wouldn't let me believe in Him if He didn't exist.

Good Christian woman should cover their heads when praying. If they do not cover their heads then they should shave their heads. But it is better for them to cover their heads.
They do not need to cover their heads when not praying or prophesising.
Sensible rules, not like in islam.
1 Corinthians 11
1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
As you can see a man should not have his head covered when praying. Even more proof that the pope is not a Christian.
(Note. This is New Testament so it's not superseded by any 'new covenant' fluffy bunny bullshit.)

Personally I think it should be compulsory in some cases to wear one of those muslim burpah things that covers the whole face. There are a few in my local Church that I think this should be applied to, also my next door neighbour.

This is the 21st Century, not the 20th.
Mr. Coleridge is not denying that Westerners had slavery until the 19th Century. He is saying that Muslims had slavery until the mid-20th century -- about 60 years ago. Which means you are LYING when you say Muslims abolished slavery before Westerners.
In fact, Muslims gave up on slavery due to pressure FROM Westerners.
Are you really this stupid, or is this all some ridiculous act?

Ok Light, heres the funny thing about slavery:
Fact #1 African tribes would battle other African tribes and take prisoners. Those prisoners were then sold for slavery to Europeans passing by in boats, thus the slave trade was born. (with blacks anyway)
Fact #2 President Madison offered any black person the right to go back to Africa, paid trip.
President Madison is also the only president to have a capitol in any other country named after him. (In Africa)
Do some homework on that bit of knowledge.
