Salutations! -
06-21-2016, 11:34 AM
Hello everyone my name is Tavita.I am new here and would like to introduce myself. I am British/Samoan and I live in the capital of Samoa, Apia. I have recently started going to my local congregation and through further research discovered this forum.
I like Psalms verses, particularly Psalms 118:24
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Thank you.

Greetings Tavita. I am also from an island and I have kinky hair too. I have seen pictures of the girls from Samoa. Unfortunately it is white girls I am studying just now so we will likely not meet. We have very many fat women in Jamaica but I have heard that Samoa is the most prodigious producer of fat people in the world. Is that true or do the white people only take pictures of the fat Samoans?

Is this some sort of code for I am a New Zealander? There is no need to be embarrassed about it. Even if there is, you are among friends here.

Actually I'm here in NZ visiting the fams(whanau) right now hahaha.
As for my church I attend the Lotopa Baptist Church. Obviously I've done some extra research on the count of both my curiosity and faith(also having access to this new Toshiba laptop) and come across this community which has impacted my life quite a lot. Again thank you for having me.

It is true majority of our population is overweight but we make up for it in bulk.
I'm 6"4, weigh 154kg but I have 20 inch arms and my body fat percentage is 60%.
I'm quite sure it's in the genes.

Miss Dosh,
It seems that you're losing your Samoan identity ( American Samoa or Western Samoa, by the way - I surely hope it is American Samoa), as you use the te reo Māori word for the extended family (isn't there supposed to be a macron there: whānau) instead of the Samoan language 'aiga (I kinda like the glottal stop there). Maybe one day you'll have the courage to discard the Austronesian languages altogether and use only pure American words! Let us pray for that!
Meanwhile, how do you apply God's Word regarding families to your tradition of closely-knit family units with mutual love? I'm of course referring to the Gospel of Luke:
Luke 14:26
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Yours in Christ,
Elmer

First of all sir, it's MISTER Dosh.
Secondly, I was merely taking a stab at the Maori language as a lot of my family are of Maori descent. (I'm even getting skype Maori lessons to converse with them more easy.)
Lastly, A lot of polynesians have grievances towards their families and I certainly am no exception. The only family members I truly love are my 5 daughters and my son. But even they cannoy surpass my newfound love of God.

Don't be foolish. A Samoan would not be able to afford the boat journey to the New Zealands.
And if nothing else the culture shock of going from Samoa (a country that was only recognised as existing in '76) to a backwards nation like the New Zealands would be too much for anyone.

Hello, little girl. Franklin here.
First of all, my wife Pearl has asked me to comment on "ethnic recipes" that you may know of. However, our Negress help has "ethnic recipes" which involve either beans or watermelon. Sometimes, it is just beans on top of a watermelon. So I am not looking forward to it.
Secondly, I would like to inquire about your 'further research', as others have. What was wrong with your Hula Girl church that made you want to look beyond the grass skirt? Did our LORD speak to you and tell you to get on The Internet? If so, please listen to Him. Romans 10:17
Regards, Franklin

I hope you can see this message, none of the letters are going in the box. Maybe they are invisible? We do not really understand Computers or Technology. I will have to ask Anita about this. See you tomor

Dr. Niles,
That is surely a damning prognosis. Thank you for sharing your learned, professional opinion.
Mr. PushDosh,
If you have indeed made the boat trip, are you perhaps experiencing demonic stress [which ultimately seduces you into worshiping with the native animistic religion]? If you are tempted to participate in auto-cannibalism, pushing virgins into volcanos, or anything involving grass skirts please speak to a saved Pastor from a biblical church [KJV 1611], or get back on your boat and get the fun out of there as soon as possible!
~H. L. Schlangern
"And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves. No doubt this man is a murderer. And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm. Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god." ~ Acts 28:4-6

Going back to Samoa this weekend! Kids are getting a bit home sick plus I forget to bring my ukulele down to sing some "Waiatas" haha. The little buggers can't bloody sleep without a few good tunes before bed. Gets a bit difficult to contain all 6 of them(Especially Penani) but I'm glad to be graced with their presence and am forever grateful to the Lord for this blessing. I also understand your concern towards my well-being and I know the natives to New zealand aren't the most civilised of folk, but rest assured my sanity is still intact and I am still fit to be a loyal foot-soldier of God.

I'm so sorry, but, you can understand this as being a gift from God that causes people to stare at you and be joyous that they do not resemble you, It is in this way that you can contribute to a better world.

Hello Tosh, I'm glad to meet you!
I don't know what a Maori is, though. Is that a Muslim sect?

I assume you have turned your back on cannibalism. If so, welcome in a very cautious manner to Landover.
I'm not sure if you count as negroid or not, but best to be safe.
