Welcome the Dago -
09-27-2008, 05:03 PM
Hello everyone, I'm an italian guy. I ended up on this forum for pure curiosity and after reading this thread I have to say my perception of catholic religion seems to be quite different from yours, it's highly probable that it is in someway different from the american one (just to make an example: there's almost no case of pedophilia and homosexuality in the clergy when comparing data with the american catholic church).
I however am not writing here to defend the catholic church, I'm not catholic so I couldn't care less.
Because of my nationality I'm more concerned about the point 3: the slaughter of kittens. I can't verify what you wrote as the the article you linked doesn't exists anymore and the "Italian Association for the Protection of Animals and the Environment" is changing website (so all articles are offline). The superstition about a black cat crossing your path is well known but it's (at least from what I know about the places where I live) regarded as such: an old weird superstition, it's more likely to make jokes out of it and I've never met anyone really believing in it, and if I would he/she would most probably be regarded ad a schizophrenic fool. I have no problem believing that this superstition came from church in the middle age, but even catholics would now treat it as a stupid superstition, and actually believing in it would be regarded as blasphemy. If the data posted are really true the only I can think is that the guilty are some incredibly ignorant folk from the wild southern villages (some of them in Sicily still speak ancient greek, so no surprise), educated people have nothing to do with that.
The only reason I wrote this is to avoid someone would think that coming here could mean seeing people killing kittens, I live in Rome and there is loads of cats living in the ancient ruins, many of them are black.
On a side note, don't you consider this emoticon blasphemous? --->

Sounds unlucky. Not surprising for Roma, though, plenty of bad luck there.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Why don't you tell us about yourself, Luigi? How much pizza do you eat everyday? What kind of grease do you use in your hair? How old are you?
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

How thick are your sisters moustaches? Why are you always yelling and talking with your hands? Do you ever wear anything besides black jeans and a white tank top?

What's this shoe fetish you all seem to have?
Friend, I've visited Rome during one of our Outreach trips, and I've never seen so much old junk in my life. Every time the city tries to evolve into the 21th century and builds a metro or something, they find yet more rubble that has "historical value".
Time to stop doing that, blow up all those old buildings, and put up some decent skyscrapers instead.
That, and listening to what Jesus really said, may be your only way towards Salvation®.
Isaiah 17:1
The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
Pastors, maybe it's time for a holiday Preaching Trip to Rome again?
Romans 1:15
So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.
Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Sister!
Look, we already have one Sister SUV who throws herself at has compassion with all furriners passing our Godly forum.
Eyetalians will talk to you about what they had for dinner yesterday, what they are having for dinner right now, and what they'll have for dinner tomorrow.
And then they use spells like "E pericoloso sporgersi". Trust me Sister, you need Jesus, not some Milanese lover boy in Armani.

They stink of garlic and cheap wine and never bathe, not to mention they pray to Christ's mother instead of addessing Christ Himself, as the Bible commands.
You'd be better off with a normal (White) True Christian™ Man.

What a nice bunch of wrong stereotypes mixed together in few uncalled for and impolite posts.
Oh well as you seem to be pretty interested why shouldn't I satisfy you?

My name is not Luigi, I eat pizza in average once per month, I don't use grease and I have never seen anyone who does, I'm 26.

My sister have no mustaches, I never yell and don't gesticulate when talking, I have never worn a white tank top, but you guessed right about black jeans, I have a pair.

Yeah that's a pain and the sole reason for us not having a decent public transportation, I however quite value the history of my city, and we have the skyscraper zone, just not in the "historical center".

I have to agree, people from Milan is scum

It is actually quite untrue, I for example loathe every kind of wine and bath twice per day, italians are also known to be one of the cleanest people in europe.

they pray to Christ's mother

You would be surprised to realize how false this is, and especially how wrong is to identify italians with catholics, I for example aren't one.

I was wondering why you had to specify "white", can't non-white people be "True Christian™"? Or if it was still referred to me, well according to your avatar picture I'm whiter than you.

Try it through a train window sometimes. Or are you so attached to your Vespa you don't take trains?

Oooh. Now ain't that nice. You hate your own people. I bet you voted for La Cicciolina last time. Your politicians are either porn stars, mafia, related to Mussolini, or should have been in jail a long time ago. Well pall, Gianfranco Fini hates your guts as well. "Lazio" Roma stands for "Lazy Romans".

You aren't, possibly, but most eyetalians are. Don't try to fool us friend.

Just an observation but every stereotype that was positive to you, you agreed with it, each one that was negative, you disagreed with it.
Perhaps you now understand why getting an honest assessment of your character from a True Christian for free is something that is granted to few.
You should be showing gratitude and repenting of your pride.

How could Remy or Joshua be True Christians ,if they aren't even White. And,don't give me this redundant bullshit that he's White in the inside. What does that signify ,and how do you detect 'Whiteness'.I'm assuming by distorting God's Word again, right?

Look, I see it as clear as day when some panhandling, unemployed Darkie comes asking 'innocent' questions - if you want to throw a few grand in the pot, Landover'll get you enrolled on the Ex-Negro course and then you can find out for yourself - this isn't a free service.
