Untitled -
02-08-2007, 02:07 AM
The clouds are bleeding again;
crying their tears of blood.
And so I walk home
showered in crimson.
It's such a strange thing:
looking at something so seeming unrelated
and seeing yourself as you are inside.
How is it that the sky is my mirror?
That it knows me so well?
When I'm no sure that I know myself...
The puddles at my feet,
like so many shards of glass,
they seem to laugh to me.
Knowing my intent, they begin to sing.
What is that song?
I know what it's called...
It's Requiem... a funeral song,
a peaceful song,
a final song.
And finally I arrive.
I'm no longer in blood-filled tears,
no longer walking in crimson puddles,
but I'm still wet;
still dripping with all the clouds have cried.
Drying myself with a white towel,
it's fibers now stained,
I see myself in the mirror;
slowly my reflection fades
and all that's left is red.
The mirror breaks
(like the hear of an emo)
and lays before me...
just like the puddles...
A foreshadowing today?
The shards, they're sharp and soft:
promises of pain and comfort in their edges.
There's nothing quite like the feeling you get
as your skin is split,
or the way blood dances down an arm
and drops to the floor.
Drop... drop... drop.
Oh look,
now I'm raining.
Just like the clouds.
I'd say that I'm sorry, but I'm not.
I'm not anything... not anymore.
Now I'm nothing.
Nothing except released.

Maybe, but I added some humour in it: "The mirror breaks/ (like the heart of an emo)" *Giggles* Silly emos. Do they realise that they're only one letter away from being called "elmos"? *Sings the Elmo's World theme song*
Anyway, I saw a picture of red clouds and thought, "Those clouds are going to bleed..." and I just grabbed a pen. Why is it that I can only, and I do mean this, only write anything that's even close to being semi-decent when I'm in a Depressive Episode???

Now, I'm sitting here listening to one of my FAVORITE SONGS and reading your post again and again and...well...frankly love...maybe you should just go with this tune abit......
http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/distu...esickness.html
I mean, afterall love, I'm sure you're NOT happy over being forced to marry SS and maybe....well just maybe....you should let out your darkside abit.

Hmm...what about a poem about Dubya and your PM, Harper, falling in love with a giant gorilla who carries them off to the jungle where they stay...forever...celebrating the glory of their gorilla love.
That'd cheer you up, and a happy ending for all concerned.
Wake up and smell the 21st Century!!

Twink, I happen to be a fan of Disturbed, and I have that song on a couple of the CD's I've burned (YES - I download illegal music and burn illegal CD's; I have even accepted money for making illegal CD's for friends! I AM AN INTERNET PIRATE [who is currently pirating Windows Microsoft Vista] AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT). I think I might like them partly because, well, I am disturbed. *Giggles all insane-like*
And Rachael, Lovely Rachael, I think that perhaps you'd be best to write that particular poem. My head hurts faaaaaaaaar too much right now.

Can't concentrate muchly right now.
Maybe later on. But I could do a limerick:
Dubya and Harper
Fell hard for a gorilla
Now they shag in trees

WOW loves!! Gorilla LOVE! Oh yeah get PRIMAL!! LOL
Undecided, love, EVERYbody (including all the TC's here) are a bit disturbed. You have to be today just to deal with the insanity in life. And as for your career in piracy..well...let me know how the Vista thing progresses as I might be interested LOL. You know, love, your confession of piracy REALLY shows you have gutts and I admire people with GUTTS! I get realllyy tired of having to deal with all the pulpit pounder whimps in the world today!

Did someone say a limerick? I wrote a few of those in my youth, before I was saved...... No... I'd better not..... Even a pagan couldn't handle the language......
I think I'm going to my prayer closet for a while. That'll help get thoughts of those sinful limericks out of my head.

This is why women can't be trusted to think: as soon as their monthly punishment for the Sin of Eve comes along, they become unable to think about anything else. Disgusting. And if you're still unclean, we may even have to postpone the wedding.

You'll have to give up this sort of organised crime when you're married to a good Christian man. Don't you know that software piracy funds terrorism, illegal immigrants, and Iran's uranium enrichment programme?

It barely even counts as that. I'd advise you to stick to doing what you're best at: Ukranian sailors.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

I think I've mentioned this enough times: I do not menstruate. I do not suffer "the curse". I have a condition that causes my uterus (do not take this literally, this is a very basic explanation) to eat eat itself; this is extremely painful and not very healthy, so I take medication to prevent "the curse" from coming. I can't even remember the last time I had a period, it's been so long.

The better question is: Do I care? Let's see... A full-time student with a part-time job that just barely covers the rent and the power bill, and the phone and internet bills, and still have just enough money left over for a few essential groceries; is this person, who hardly has enough money as it is, going to spend $159.99 CDN on an operating system, or $30.00 on a CD, or even $5.00 per song, when she can pirate them and have them for free? Don't think so. And neither would you were you in my position.

It is still stealing. Would you walk into a store and take something without paying for it? I'd hope not. So why do you do the electronic equivilant? Haven't you ever heard of doing without? You don't need new CDs all the time nor do you need the latest version of Windows. If people pirate music instead of buying it the artists are going to quit making new albums because they won't get any money by doing so.
If you must have new songs all the time use iTunes or a similar legal service. Most have songs available for real cheap.

But despite this.. "eating"... you can still get children, right?

Brother! She is a pagan, even if she will shortly have to give all that nonsense up. I'd strongly advise you not to use the words "eating" and "children" in the same sentence around her.

Yes I can. I thought you might be concerned about that, but there's no need to worry. All I have to do is stop taking my pills three months before I start trying to conceive, and everything'll be fine.

I don't eat children, silly. Especially not North American children; too much sugar, trans fat, sodium, and way too many calories.
