  • Catholic mistakenly worships Lord of the Rings figurine instead of Romanist "saint."

How can we be expected to keep all of the Catholic idols straight when not even the Mary-hailers have a clue as to what they're worshiping instead of Jesus?

    Unsaved JYC "news" source:
Brazilian great-grandmother confuses 'Lord of the Rings' figure and St. Anthony in daily prayers

Gabriela Brandão shared an image of an Elrond action figure from the "Lord of the Rings" series, explaining, "My daughter's great-grandmother prays to this figure of Saint Anthony every day. … But looking more closely …"
Of course, we True Christians™ know that if you're going to forsake the worship of Jesus in favor of worshiping a made-up character or other being with no demonstrated ability to answer your prayers, it doesn't matter which one it is, since the way to hell is broad enough (Matthew 7:13) to accommodate the worshipers of all of them (Exodus 20:4-5).
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Stupid idolators, they won't think it's funny when they're in hell.

What idiots! Just another reason to distrust the idolaters that is the catholic church
The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness. - Lamentations: Chapter 1, Verse 4

Not only that dear, but it shows the gullibility and lack of critical thinking skills (not to mention general intelligence) of the average Catholic. After all, you must be somewhat simple minded to believe eating a man isn't cannibalism, despite the very definition of cannibalism.
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

This goes to show that Catholics aren't Christians. You won't see a True Christian mistaking Jesus for Osama bin Laden, Abdul the valet at Peter Luger's Steakhouse, or that long haired beaner that drives around town with a push mower in the back of his El Camino offering landscaping for $50.
Psalm 137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.

Jesus triumphed over death and is now in Heaven. We know that because He's been seen there. Jesus would not want idols made of Himself and whether people pray to an idol pretending to be Jesus or pretending to be Mary or Anthony (whoever he was) makes no difference. They might as well pray to Dr Nefario.
            ACTS 7 . KJV . look up
            54c-56
They gnashed on [Stephen] with their teeth but he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, and said, Behold I see the heavens opened and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Stephen was a real person who loved Jesus. That wouldn't stop pagans like Pope Frank from making an idol and praying to it which would be exactly as effective as praying to batgirl but Jesus is absolutely certain that all idolatry is evil. No pope has ever believed in Jesus even though they sell trashy statues called "Jesus" and "Mary" and I'm sure they'll sell you a "Stephen" if you want one so my question for Pastor Isaac, is their idol really a statue of Jesus at all? The linked article said that she was attempting “to worship the Lord” which I suppose means Jesus using an idol she thought was “Saint Anthony” but which was actually Elrond, a fictional character. So if they can't tell one idol from another, in their delusion, are any of them an actual likeness of anything? Is the Jesus idol actually a likeness of Jesus?

Well, you have to consider that Tokien was a Catholic, so it was no surprise that his characters attracted catholics.

His characters did not attract catholics they attracted hippies inspired in a hippie bog in the depths of England still infested with hippies to this day. What attracted the catholic was the idol. God is very clear we are not to make idols and defines what an idol is in excessive detail. Excessive for any normal person who'd get it from a single reading of the first descriptive verse that is. Inadequate for papist demoniacs but you'd know all about those I suppose once you get the pantheon in your bowels and heap up filthy lucre your world view gets pretty distorted where idols are concerned.

                19
They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
