Pray for my Parents: Headed to Rome -
11-21-2016, 04:34 PM
Father called today to let me know he and Mother are going to Rome on Christmas Eve for midnight mass with Pope Frances. They are thrilled to even be in the same space as Frances.
As you know, she will spend a useless hour or two popularizing the idiotic idea that a wafer will become our Lord and then everyone will go out and sin again until the next confession in typical papist style. All this while most of America sleeps and awaits a more Godly church service on Jesus' Birthday.
Please pray that the pope and her ridiculous sideshow will somehow be derailed so that mom and dad aren't subjected to this gaudy event. Pray that they will enjoy Rome and its beauty, but none of this cathylick doo-doo (sorry for the strong language, but I'm upset). We could pray that a Roman Baptist meets them at the airport and takes them to his home, where they are led to Christ in a meaningful way - the only TRUE way. What a gift that would be. Glory!
Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man. Amen and Amen

Brother, I believe this trip to Rome is ill advised. There is no place on Earth with more Romans in attendance than in Rome. Your parents could easily be trapped into some kind of blood ritual before they know what is happening. Also, the pickpockets are said to be thick there and they could easily lose their funds, their return tickets and even their hotel room key. No one speaks American there and they could wind up trapped, doomed to walk around Rome until Jesus returns, eating spoiled spaghetti and left over pizza from garbage cans. That is no way for a Christian to live.

What joy to know that the parents of a pretend Christian have enough faith in the healing powers of Jesus to venture to the very center of Christian goodness in the faint hope that their child of indeterminate gender might be blessed by Jesus irrespective of this child's cult membership.
Unlike dusty prairie farm-towns that feature no more culture than a petrie dish in space, Rome is the very epicenter of Faith in Jesus as well as the epicenter of enviable style, art and cuisine.
To make matters even more wonderful, His Holiness has just extended a Priest's ability to forgive women who have had abortions as well of those, as in the case here, who might have been better served by having one.
I might point out that in order to make American visitors feel more at home there are a number of MacDonald's 'restaurants', several fake pizza joints (Boston has as much claim to pizza as Kanye West has to rock stardom) as well as vending machines stocked with Cheetos so that Americans can smear them all over their faces and pretend they are great again!
But mox nix. The truth is that we, as always, will welcome your parents and Americans just like them to the eternal city and without doubt they will be left in awe by the glory, splendor and humility that oozes from every corner of the Vatican and every Titian, DaVinci and Michelangelo that grace its many walls. Nothing says love of God like the gracious offerings of the world's finest artists.
Perhaps one day you might even manage to realise, as your parents certainly have, just how blessed we Romans are thanks to Jesus and our unending devotion to His teachings.
Bless you, my child of rubes,
Father Mo

Tell your parents to run like the devil himself is behind them if anyone there suggests a bath or offers them grapes.

Church plate donations must be down with the cathylicks, and what does Macy's do when sales are down - time for a sale. Thing must be going so well in the "Vatican’s jubilee year" that now the "sale" on abortion "forgiveness" has been extended indefinitely. Why not extend the special offer to an "approved seller" on Amazon, or just bid them out on eBay? Any why bother to excommunicate Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden for government funding of abortions - it just keeps the swindle going.
Only Jesus can forgive sins - not some frocked up Roman collar wearing papist promoting priest. As Donald Trump would say - Brother Larry's parents have been "schlonged".
Bless you too, my bead slinging penance papist promoter.

Pope Francis indefinitely extends priests' ability to forgive women who have abortions
But the Pope says he wants to 'restate as firmly as I can that abortion is a grave sin'
- Samuel Osborne
Pope Francis has said all priests will be able to forgive abortion, extending indefinitely a temporary measure he had put in place for the Vatican’s jubilee year.
“I henceforth grant to all priests, in virtue of their ministry, the faculty to absolve those who have committed the sin of procured abortion,” the Pope wrote in a letter marking the end of the “Holy Year of Mercy”.
“The provision I had made in this regard, limited to the duration of the Extraordinary Holy Year, is hereby extended, notwithstanding anything to the contrary,” he wrote.

Re: Pray for my Parents: Headed to Rome -

I am grateful for your prayers and words of kind support. Mom and Dad are cradle Catholics. Their leg muscles are rock solid from years of kneeling, standing, sitting, kneeling, standing, and sitting. They should call Mass Holy Calisthenics in my opinion, except there is nothing holy about it.
Mother is taking 20 rosaries with her that she claims will automatically be blessed just by standing among thousands of people in the square when Sister Pope Frances delivers her Wednesday extravaganza. They submitted their names to be read by the Pope, welcoming them. Only a few select organizations, and rarely, individuals' names are read each week. It is considered some kind of honor to have that happen.
I'd rather have my name in the Book of Life. When the LORD JESUS reads "Well done, Larry, thou good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of thy Lord," it will be far more meaningful than having some old woman in a white dress with a big hat welcome me to the sinful city of Rome, where only blocks from the Vatican, people live in squalor. Amen? Amen!
It is hard to see your own parents on the pathway to Sheol, but I have witnessed to them and they have chosen to ignore me. While they swim in the sea of satan, I'll be having tea and crumpets with the King of Kings. GLORY! What a wonderful day that will be!
"What a day that will be, when my Jesus I can see,
And I look upon His Face, the One Who saved me by His grace.
When He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the promised land, what a day, glorious day, that will be."
Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”
Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man. Amen and Amen

To be quite frank, your parents are probably approaching the end of their lives. There is nothing much to be done for these people - their minds are made up, and that is it - no questions - accept everything the Church says: if you believe in the transubstantiation of the bread and wine, you'll believe anything.
They have had their chance at Salvation and rejected it.
There will be some consolation: it will be 2 Catholics who are buried and not 2 Baptists.

So, how it was your trip to the eternal town of Rome, dear Mr. Larry? Were you robbed by the gypsies? They are the real mayors of the city, when in reality it should be Virginia Raggi of Movement Five Stars.

It was his parents that were headed to Rome.
Great job mis-reading someone else's story and trying to twist it to further your own xenophobic agenda, but then you guys have been doing that for close to 2,000 years. Tough habit to break, huh?

Well there might be a few more represented in your award selection.
I don't know which would be worse,
following amoral Romans such as Frank-the-poverty-stricken
or wanton Greeks into their Epicurean garden.
