Friends, I ask now that we are in the era of Trump - will you pay for homosexuals to get married and welfare queens to laugh in your face, or will you like our President not pay any taxes at all next year? Or perhaps, like our top 1%, will you enjoy a massive tax break?

Out of respect for Trump and the Republican Congress, I would ask you to consider a mass refusal to pay federal taxes in 2017. Government is the problem after all.

Donald Trump said he's "smart" by not paying income taxes — and argued that if he did, the money would be "squandered." Trump's jaw-dropping statements came after Hillary Clinton launched a fiery attack on the Republican presidential nominee for breaking a four-decade tradition of White House aspirants releasing their federal income tax returns.

"The only years that anybody's ever seen were a couple of years when he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license, and they showed he didn't pay any federal income tax," Clinton said.

Trump quickly retorted: "That makes me smart."

Later, when Clinton told Trump was that "maybe ... you haven't paid any federal income tax for a lot of years," the real estate mogul, who claims to be worth up to $10 billion, said that he was a better steward for his money than the government.

"It would be squandered, too, believe me," Trump said.

Are you smart like Donald or do you want to squander your money on trifles like federal tax? Perhaps you won't be able to release your tax return on time, like Donald, and will need to file an extension? Maybe you pay, maybe you don't. Ask yourself: what would The President do.

My husband, who was born in Iowa, holds dual US-UK citizenship - the latter is just a matter of convenience, as are the couple of others he has picked up over the years. He is therefore liable to pay US taxes on his worldwide income, though the joo accountants have certified that this has been zero throughout the Obama presidency.

He says that come January, he will take his lead from soon-to-be-President Trump (how good it is to write those words!). If the president asks us to pay taxes, he will have a good reason. But as Americans will no longer be paying for welfare, he won't need to ask us for much.

Is Trump aware of how little the presidency actually pays, given the level of responsibility? Perhaps his first action will be in awarding himself a raise.

Didn't the President-Elect say he wouldn't take a salary? I know I saw it somewhere - ah yes, here it is!

Although he has not yet officially commented on the issue of his presidential salary since winning the election, a number of media outlets have published stories detailing how Trump will not draw a salary while in the Oval Office. The basis for these reports stem from comments made by Trump during the campaign.

Russia Today is a pretty reliable source, because they get their information direct from Brother President Vlad. They go on to say:

On September 17, 2015, he told a Rochester, New Hampshire crowd, “The first thing I'm going to do is tell you that if I'm elected president, I'm accepting no salary, okay? That's not a big deal for me.”

Mr. Etheldreda and I, like most of America, have been praising Jesus nonstop for answering our prayers to supernaturally rig the election for a Trump Victory. Now we're praying for Iowa to quickly draft and adopt its own Religious Freedom Bill so we can keep our taxes to ourselves with clean consciences, and liberty intact. As we await its legislation with joyful anticipation, knowing Jesus will answer these prayers just as He did our last (Matthew 21:22), we're not putting any aside for the tax man this spring.

No one stole anything from her. It's all her fault. Even people on the left are roundly blaming her. She's a career politician who only managed to garner the votes of just over half of the (non-apathetic) electorate. How much lower can someone sink? What we need to remember is that President Trump wrote a book called, "The Art of the Deal." This means he will be making money for the U. S. from deals all over the world.

Mexico will pay for the wall is just the beginning. He will renegotiate trade so other countries will pay us to trade and we will not pay them. Wars will be fought but with other countries paying us plus a profit instead of the other way around. Road projects will be paid for by foreign visitors. Schools? Kids will be so good when they graduate their pocket change will fund the next generation.

The opportunities are there for us to pay no taxes whatsoever. We're going to see "The Art of the Deal" go worldwide.

If "You" means "Landover Baptist Church", then the answer is "No." As a church, there is no tax to pay. For myself, my business interests had a turnover of a little under $876,338,781 and paid a little over $5.80 in taxes thanks to my accountants and the Government of the Cayman Islands.

Personally, I have no money at all - such that there is is in a rather complex funding system of blind trusts, shell-companies, holding companies, overseas assets, currency hedge futures, run through a charitable biblical educational establishment that simply provides me with houses, several cars, a light aircraft, and living and travel expenses. I am thus entitled to a payment from the IRS of $228,986 a year, which I feel morally bound to take. I have no idea why everyone does not do this - surely we all have the paltry few $Million that it costs to start this trickle-down effect and help those in true need?
