Is my church being overrun by Satan? -
12-08-2013, 10:30 PM
I am new to the church and have recently renewed my faith in the Lord after a long period of darkness. So please be gentle in your admonishment of my experience below.
On occasion, I visit a Presbyterian church where my wife has chosen to become a member (without first consulting me on the matter). Putting that act of defiance aside for now, I've made some observations that have raised my suspicion of their faith. For example, I have overheard that numerous persons of openly homer persuasion have been repeatedly allowed to attend without so much as a casting out or even a humiliating condemnation. Is this normal? I have yet to observe the church leaders speak up on this issue and take action to protect against this tainting of their congregation. Perhaps they are waiting for the right moment to denounce their godless lifestyle and thus maximize the public shame and guilt upon them? Until I see these sinners forced into conviction and kneel before the cross (rather than in front of each other!), I remain skeptical.
What's more, on several occasions this church has invited false teachers and other heathens into their services.. including a female jooish rabbi (not surprised how feminism has crept into that terrible group of unbelievers), and also a dirty muslamic! I was always taught that tolerance of these worldly and demonic forces will lead to worse trends including liberals, followed by abortionists, divorcees, foreigners, immigrants, all manner of unsavory handicapts and God knows what else. I would like someone's opinion on this matter and how I should act. Should I be worried?
Proverbs 27:17 -- "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." Yes pleeeease.

Considering your ungentlemanly assumptions about me when I innocently remarked on my love for musical instruments, kind sir, I should think you have more to worry about than some presbysatanists. Remove the 2x4 in your own eye before judging others. Father stated that his solution to your problem would have been to bring some stones of his own to cast at the perverts and heathens you mention. Naturally, I told him you probably have no stones. Praise Jesus Always. NRL

Son, you're in the wrong church. It was things like those of which you speak that made the Rev. Ian Paisely brak away and form the Free Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Ian does not tolerate any papists and believes they have no place on earth. In fact he was one of the leading proponents in the 30 odd year war against papism in Northern Ireland.
Niether does he condone homerism.
Nor does he tolerate women to teach in church.
Given these attributes I honestly believe he could actually become a True Christian one day.
Isaiah 66:15
For behold, the Lord wil come with fire, and with his charets like a whirlewinde, to render his anger with furie, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
