My name is D'Arlene from Oklahoma and I am new here -
02-27-2009, 05:13 AM
Dear Fellow Landover Baptist Members:
My name is D'Arlene Davenport Sepkowitz. My husband Solomon and I reside in the lovely city of Tulsa, Oklahoma where Mr. Sepkowitz is in the Oil and Gas business. I am a native Oklahoman, born in Durant. I attended the Corn Bible Academy and matriculated briefly to Oral Roberts University before marrying in 1982.
I am a housewife, and in my spare time like singing in the church choir, selling Mary Kay cosmetics (and of course witnessing to my customers!), and sponsoring beauty and talent pageants for little Christian girls through out the Southern states of this great US of A. I was a runner-up in the Miss Oklahoma pageant back in 1979.
I love the Lord and pray daily for the salvation of my dear husband. I am sure some of you will be curious about my heritage as well as Sol's. His Daddy was a Jew and it is our understanding that the Jewish genes are located only on the Mama's side of the family tree. Therefore, while Mr. Sepkowitz is still unsaved and destined to burn in the pits of hell, not being born of a Jewish mother, he still has time (God willing) to repent and walk with the Lord.
My maternal grandparents were of Czech heritage, so I must pray daily for God's forgiveness for the heathen Catholic blood that runs through my veins. My paternal heritage is Scottish. At least I don't have to worry quite as much about the Presbyterian side of the family causing me to be cast into the Lake of Fire.
I have been a Born Again woman on fire for Jesus since Pastor Ezekiel witnessed to me at the Bixby Walmart several months ago. I have since left the Methodist church and become one with Landover Baptist. I am in need of instruction as I want to become a subservient, Godly woman whose only need is the Lord. I sincerely look forward to meeting each and every one of you soon.
Glory be to God!
Sister D'Arlene Sepkowitz
P.S. My close friends call me "Shalom". I hope I will come to call many of you friend, too.

Honey, I happen to be from The GODLY Republic of TEXAS and I know for a fact there are no JOOS in Oklahoma. We just wouldn't allow it! Now you tell Pastor the truth or it won't go well for you!

My warmest welcome to this Godly forum. You are certainly a Godly True Christian woman in spite of your Joo husband and the Negroidian apostrophe in your name. There may be hope for him yet. Have you considered calling yourself simply "Arlene"? The good Pastors, Deacons, Brothers, and Sisters will help you through the trying times of living with a Joo. My own fine Christian wife is of Slovak extraction and has overcome the Papist influence quite well.
Welcome to Landover Baptist Church , D'Arlene.
Yours in Christ
Brother lazarus
In the Beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth. Genesis 1.1. This scripture is the first verse of the Bible for a reason. It lays the foundation for the absolute truth found in God's Holy WORD, the Bible.

Welcome, Sister D'ar!
By the way, did you get in on that IHOP 'All you can Eat Pannycakes' IHOP trip we took recently? If so....have any left in your purse?
I ran fresh out about an hour ago

We missed out on the IHOP breakfast here in Tulsa. My cleaning lady Laveda said there was quite a crowd at all three IHOPS she and Darrell went to that day.
Thank you for your warm greeting!!

Welcome Sister.
Um, your avatar is a bit, um, unusual.
Have you banned yourself? Are you a flagellante?

Hello Brother Lazarus and Christian Greetings to you and Mrs Lazarus!
I am going to make this a quick reply as I am due at the Soup Kitchen soon for my Junior League volunteer duties. I look forward to visiting with you and Mrs. Lazarus on Sunday. Of course I will welcome the instruction of the Elders regarding the sticky matter of my being wed to an unsaved, unwashed (he is circumsized, Praise God!) Jew. At the risk of offending, my dear little Daddy named me. What he lacked in punctuation, he made up for in LOVE.
Your sister in Christ,

Oh My Goodness! Thank you for pointing out the problem with my avatar. I only saw the pretty colors and wanted my page to pop with color! I will remove it immediately.

Modest apparel Sister, " modest apparel suits us well", as we say over here.
1 Timothy 2:9
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Psalm 81:10:

Oh my Goodness Pastor! I can't tell if your question about Mr. Sepkowitz's food choices were facetious, or not! Solomon enjoys a good rare rib eye steak, served with asparagus tips, a nice Cabernet and Hagen-Daas sorbet. He also enjoys my smothered pork chops. no, he does not adhere to those silly Jewish rules about not eating pork."Rules- shmooles", Solomon says.
You have yourself a wonderful day, Pastor! Look forward to seeing you in Church on Sunday!
Your Sister in Christ,
D'Arlene Sepkowitz

Dear Sister Shalom:
Welcome! Remember that we womenfolk do not wear gold or pearls here, nor costly array, so if you have any jewelry like that, it it best to hock it and tithe that amount for straying away from 2 Timothy 8:9:
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
Should you so choose, I am attaching a potential temporary avatar of a well-scrubbed and properly docile housewife for you to use. This is in case you fear showing your real face here, lest the Hebrews in your neighborhood spot it online and rise up to sacrifice your Christian blood for joining the One True Church of God.
I know how that can be.

My husband's favorites are cherry, chocolate cream and rhubarb. I also make a mean chicken pot pie. Do you have pie walks at the annual church carnival?? I'll be glad to help out any way I can!

I make a truly vicious potatis salad!
Pastor says I've got to stop doing that - even after I Promised to first boil the potatoes in the future
