This is the clearest most definitive statement about Donald's campaign. A prominent Iowa Republican I've known for years says Trump supporters are so numerous if you swing a dead cat you will hit his people.

Tomorrow Donald arrives at our beloved Iowa State Fair. Candidates have always walked into the fair. Donald will helicopter in. Strong Presidents move around in helicopters, so do strong candidates.

Every event we go to — the Boone County Eisenhower Social, the Black Hawk County Lincoln Dinner, the Boots and Barbecue down in Denison — the Trump people are everywhere with literature and T-shirts and signing people up."
Why are so many people — including Iowans who have never participated in the caucuses before — hopping on the Trump bandwagon?

The Donald's campaign is reminiscent of Texas billionaire H. Ross Perot's bid for the presidency in 1992. Perot was noted for his folksy homespun homilies that painted Washington insiders as petrified rocks, and promised to fix things by opening up the hood and seeing what was going in inside. Even Perot was once quick to see the fundamental problem with the Texas school system - too much football.

Trump, in his own inimitable way, is going to get the Mexicans to build that fence to close the border - and who can argue with that, it's certain to be the cheapest way. If he can build successful hotels and casinos he can certainly get that fence built.

Our problem here is not all that difficult - get that Harvard talking, golf playing, vacation taking, muslim loving, socialist nigra and his school lunch program meddling transgendered wife out of the White House and keep that Clinton witch from winning.
