But you know Erasmus was a Roman Catholic... Why don't you believe he did it in a rush and under commercial pressure, like I've proposed.

He was not a practicing Catholic. While never publicly renounced Catholicism, he did not believe Catholic doctrine and was close friends with the Anabaptists. None of his contemporaries considered him to be a Catholic.

You are making a claim, and then asking me to disprove it. You must explain why you think he did it in a rush.
It took him about a year to publish the first edition, and then he produced four more editions over the next 19 years. That doesn't sound like someone "in a rush" to me.

Well read this site: http://www.skypoint.com/members/waltzmn/TR.html
more specifically the section headed "ad.1 the king james bible". It tells us why the TR is bad and why the King James is frankly, bad too! It suggests the KJV even had to turn to the vulgate at some points.

That guy makes a lot of attacks, but he doesn't back up anything he says with evidence of any sort. It is impossible to read that and know that it is anything other than one man's opinion.
What make your source more valid that this one, or this one?

God has one true book.
The king James Bible is the one true book.
See the flaws coming out in this guys logic?
Seriously, the NIV is a better version, and especially regarding the Hebrew, it much truer to the text.

But the KJV1611 Bible is much truer to God's Own Word. Take a look at THIS.
Who cares about the hebes anyway? They killed Christ.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Truer to which text? The NIV is truer to the texts (UBS) from which it was translated, and the KJV is truer to the texts (M-Text) from which it was translated.
The UBS text has a lot of "dropout" errors relative to the M-Text. Diligent scribes with a respect for God’s Word are more likely to miss copying something (i.e. by skipping a line, etc.) than to make up a line to add in. What does Acts 8:37 say in the NIV? This important verse describes the requirements for who may be baptized.
If you'd like to see examples of these dropout errors, you could try this quiz.

As True Christians, we fervently believe every single word of the KJV1611 Holy Bible, and we enthusiastically reject all false Bibles.
You are free to join in or bow out of any conversation here.

I believe it as fervently as I believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe it as fervently as I agree with the 45% of Americans believe in a literal 6-day creation less than 10,000 years ago. I believe it as fervently as I support presidential candidate Mike Huckabee's plan to amend the Constitution to conform to the Bible.
I believe this as fervently as I agree with the doctrine of total depravity, which tells us that all human beings are inherently worthless, that all "are utterly indisposed, disabled, and made opposite to all good, and wholly inclined to all evil, do proceed all actual transgressions", and that teaching children to love themselves for who they are is the best way to send them to Hell.
Finally, to settle the discussion over which Bible is the True Word of God. We know that fundamentalist theology is correct, because it is so strongly proved by the Bible. The King James Bible offers the strongest proof of fundamentalist theology, so it is therefore the best.
I pray that this will clear up any misunderstandings, friend.

Psalm 5:4-6
For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Well, Falso, it seems that Pastor Billy-Reuben has owned you in this discussion. I'm not quite sure what knowing Hebrew has to do with John 3:16, though. How can the word μονογενη be translated as anything other than only begotten?
