Hello, I would like to address some things that are wrong about your Thread.Having been playing Team Fortress 2 for 6 months now i want to explain some things that are false, first off The Mercenaries are not Gay or homosexual as you say, FALSE, i have never even thought of the term when playing this game. The game is only rated M for its intense blood and gore (which I have removed because I am not over the age of 18 and my parents don't like it) which leaves it at an everyone 10 and up rating. Me and my friends and family under the age of 18 loves this game, and the mercenary named soldier is not portraying himself as God it is a metaphor for him capturing an specific targeted area. Also my parents have taught me a lot and i can see that your not a good christian and are taking your beliefs WAY too far. Team fortress 2 is for the most part family friendly and you can make them play offline (which is way less fun) if you really dont want toxic people bothering your children. Also really? You don't let him see those friends? that's pathetic and a wrong choice. oh and dont even bother telling me BUT YOUR NOT EVEN AN ADULT YET HOW WOULD YOU KNOW????? the answer is my parents are actually smart unlike you and teach me lots of adulthood lessons to get me ready to have a family. Welcome to our forums, Mr. Young Man! How nice of you to join us! I'm curious about this bit right here I quoted. How does a Christian take their beliefs "too far"? In your opinion, how far should a Christian believe the Holy Bible? Should a Christian believe 95% of the Bible? 80%? 60%? Which 60% do you propose Christians believe? Please don't say the 60% you personally approve of, because if that's the case, and each Christian decides which parts of the Bible to trust and believe, it renders the entire thing useless.

If your parents were so very smart, they would have taught you to obey them rather than go behind their backs and do something that you know very well that they don't like.

i did not expect people to reply but i read the bible everyday (I try to at least) and i think people should believe 100% of the bible, from what i have learned in youth group she is making it Jesus plus other stuff. what i mean as an example is like what the Jew Religious leaders tried to convert the jews to doing in Pauls writings, sorry if I sounded rude i just want to get my point out.

Well, dear, you may want to try to get your point out in a bit less muddy way.

I am glad that we agree that the Holy Bible is to be believed 100%! Many people believe that only small parts of the Bible are to be believed, and they discard many important Biblical facts, including 6-day creation (Genesis 1:1-31), people surviving being swallowed by a giant fish (Jonah 1:17, 2:10), unicorns (Psalms 22:21, Isaiah 34:7), talking donkeys (Numbers 22:28-30), and, of course, the fact that the earth is flat and has four corners (Isaiah 11:12, Revelation 7:1).

I am not entirely sure, though, what were you trying to say with the "Jew Religious leaders" bit - would you care to clarify?

Okay, Mr. Reads-the-Bible-everyday, give us your take on genocide and slavery--as per God's commands in the Bible.

Tell us that you agree with us that a rape victim should marry her rapist, but only after the rapist pays the victim's dad. Tell us that a girl who doesn't cry for help when she is raped isn't a victim, but a fornicating disgrace to her family who deserves to be stoned-- to death, not given a marywana cigarette.

You don't know how many "Bible-believing", so-called Christians will let the girl off the hook, and even abort a child, if they can investigate and feel assured that she didn't know the guy and lead him on.

According to the Bible, it doesn't matter a whit if she knows him! If she's anywhere in the vicinity of a couple of buildings and she doesn't cry out for help, God says she sinned.

If he's a total stranger and she was raped out in the boondocks where nobody could hear her--and she at least screamed in an attempt to be rescued, then she is not to be condemned to death. Which is not the same thing as saying that she's a victim. Her father is the victim, which is why he has to get paid.

These and other spiritual tenents are covered carefully throughout the Bible. Given your vast knowledge, it would be interesting (and by that I mean amusing) to hear your point of view.

Our P.O.V. is whatever God has to say in the Bible.

I've tried to engage you in discussing the Bible. That is why the Landover Baptist Church forum exists. It's puzzling to me that you state that you read the Bible, but you don't refer to any Bible verses when asserting your ideas.


Please tell me where your ideas about God and Jesus and Christianity come from. All my ideas on the subject come from the Bible.
