Waiting period? -
05-10-2010, 11:59 AM
I was wondering what the waiting period is in Iowa for filing for a divorce if your cheating wife disappears ? I would like to find a new Christian wife who is willing to have lots of babies for Jesus.
Does anyone know?

I found this
Quote:
Missing Spouse
If you do not know where your spouse is and cannot locate him/her, after diligent effort, you may still get a divorce in Iowa. It may involve the extra expense of running a newspaper ad or something similar. We help you through the process.
In this instance, notice to your spouse can often be satisfied through “Service By Publication”. To get the court to accept this form of service, you’ll have to prove that you have made a diligent effort to locate your spouse and by “diligent”, we mean more than just a few phone calls.
Once you’ve exhausted all of your efforts and received approval of the court, you can publish an ad in a local newspaper notifying your missing spouse of the divorce proceedings in process. Notice that the ad is run after the divorce is filed and the choice of which newspaper is typically left up to you, although you may want to verify this with the court clerk as there may be a recommended paper typically used by the court or a requirement as to the size of the paper’s circulation for such matters.
Assuming your missing spouse does not respond within a given timeframe, your divorce would then be granted as a default judgment. The court would grant you a divorce and decide all of the terms of the divorce in the manner which you have requested.

I'm not seeing a specific amount of waiting time. Were you not already discussing this with a lawyer? I would bring it up with them and see what they have to say.

Thanks Brother Seth, I notified the Freehold PD. Officer Don said he will do what he can. Friday I will run an ad in the Freehold Gazette news paper. So by following week end that should satisfy the Court.
I was wondering, does any one know about buying a white female Russian sex slave finding a foreign wife? From what I hear they are less maintenance that American females.

My rule of thumb is a minimum of seven days though it depends when the police consider the case closed. You do not want to appear premature, no matter the innocence.
I suggest that during this period of uncertainty and morning, you seek the comfort of the LOL (Ladies of Landover). I'm sure many of them would be happy to share some discreet time in their prayer closets with you, humming a few bars of hymns, spreading their love of Jesus for you.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Brother James your wisdom far exceeds your years. I will indeed contact LOL this very day. Sister Talitha and her nieces should be of some comfort. Does you import/export company have any experience in finding European brides? Christian only if you please.

IIRC back in ‘52 (or was it ’51?) Jericho Carver reported his wife missing to Officer Carver who entered the correct report. Jericho came back the following day and asked the very same question as you have. Officer Carver, referred it to Judge Carver, and the answer came back, “The Lord did not specify a waiting period so if, you swear upon your word that she was a harlot, a philanderer, and an adulteress, I see no reason why I can’t sign the papers now.”
Jericho Carver remarried within the week.
PS You have your eye on Miss Talitha? If she'll have you I'd snap it up; you could do a lot worse.

Not sure where you heard IO had a import/export business. As you know, I am just a simple truck driver, earning a meager sustenance. I would never traffic in people or anything illicit.
However, I have heard about mail order brides where the bride has to work off the processing and transportation costs. Usually, these women are either slants or commies.
Being we are best friends, I have no problem picking one up at the port and giving her a ride. I suggest you search on-line at eurobride and email me a picture so I know who to shippick up.
You know this business is not to be advertised. Free Market Fred and I need to keep our distance in public.

I suppose condolences are in place, she didn't seem like the type to go to Heaven. I hope your next wife will be better.
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

I have found a person in Moscow that helps you find White Christian virgin brides at a reasonable price. I can get her to Nova Scotia . May be Chuck can help and pick her up, Its not far from Maine. Its not a bad deal they send 2 for the price of one. You can get to know them for up to six months before you have to send one back. It could be that one might stay on as a maid or as a nanny Right I will PM Fred

Cranky she is most definitely going to hell, that is when she dies and I don't know when that will happen.

The power of the LORD came upon Elijah and, tucking his cloak into his belt, he ran ahead of Ahab all the way to Jezreel.
