Hello -
01-19-2015, 03:36 PM
Um, I use to be a believer in God when I was young. But I kinda lost interest when my school cancelled the classes and replaced them with what they considered "academic". I only got to read some of genesis when I was first learning to read because of the school cancelling the classes. But I found the verse "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." Genesis 2:15 to be interesting. I live in Australia, I know that some of you might not exactly like that because I've read some of the posts and it seems that you mostly accept people in America and rarely accepting some people from other countries. I currently can't find a church but if I do, I'll try to go it. I know that I sound like a bad Christian but I am trying my best to be a good one. I currently can't find a bookstore that stocks KJV but I am currently using Bible Gateway to find verses.

Find verses? Why not just start at Genesis 1:1 and end at Revelation 22:21? That way you don't miss anything.
Yours in Christ,

There are people who assume that if you kidnap a child at birth and isolate it for it's entire life, then the child is not to blame for not knowing about God and the Holy Bible. Those people are WRONG. Everyone is to know and obey God's laws for 100%. Everyone who refuses to do this (no matter how much others are to blame) will burn in Hell for all eternity. No exceptions. So blaming your school is pointless here.
Freedom means voting for Donald Trump!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

I know but I was a stupid back when I was a child. My parents didn't take me to church, when I was growing up the only church was 10 kilometers away or 10 miles for Americans. But I did try to obey the laws of the lord to the letter and I prayed every night.

Fantastic!
It doesn't even take as long as you think...even if you only read 10-15 pages a day you'll be done in around 2 months.
The Bible I gave my kids is around 700 pages, or about 200 pages LESS than Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and that's only ONE book out of SEVEN!
And let me tell you, the first time you read the Bible cover-to-cover, it will change your life...it sure changed mine!

Hello dex9awesome.
Ten kilometers is about 6 miles I know this because one time I stopped to ask a woman directions but she was a prostitute and she and a colored boy on a bicycle stole my car and I had to walk all the way back to my house it was 6 miles.
I do not have a portable phone like Pastor Ezekiel his takes pictures and says whoop day it is when Miss Daisy calls him.
Thank you.

Unless Australian kilometers are a lot longer than the usual sort (maybe your meters are around 161 centimeters long instead of the usual 100 - that would work), then 10 kilometers is only a little over 6 American miles. You surely could have walked that?
Proverbs 6:6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise
It is difficult to obey God's Holy Word if you haven't actually read it. I look forward to getting to know you much better when you have finished reading the KJV.
Vaccinated by the love of Jesus!!!

Sorry, I must have miscalculated. I am not very good with the American system of measurement. My parents didn't let me go very far outside the neighbourhood.

When I was a child, they canceled classes once because of snow. It never stopped me from Following God. His footprints were clear. I do not see how you can blame regular people for not following Jesus. Do you think that God takes sick days and is not there at your birth and at your death and every moment in between?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Dex, the important thing now, is that you repent of your sins of the past, and devote yourself to the Lord.
We all harbour past sins, some of us are worse than others. Only the Lord knows how deeply we have sinned.
Are you now willing to change, to leave your sinful past behind you? Will you let Jesus enter you and fill the void?

Welcome then, Dex. You are welcome here, even though you are a foreigner and one from godless Australia at that. We have long felt that there were other Christians in Australia, holed up and in hiding from the barbarians that infest that place. Others have made their way here. You are in good company.
Are you truly saved, Dex? We thirst for news from your side of the world. Have you seen other Christians? Are you menaced by Muslims and Chinamen? Tell us tales of following Jesus in Australia.
God Bless!

I am willing for Jesus to fill my void and Alvin to answer your question. Australia is like America, except it's much less patriotic. I haven't met a lot of Christians here but I've met lots of Asians and Muslims. They haven't gave me much trouble, it's only when I mention Christmas.

Australia is nothing like America! I am proud to say that we are a marsupial-free nation, with the exception of the hateful Opossum:
We also have our abo problem under control.
