Scripture is a bit of a central theme on this forum.
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

On the quality of the translation I can not give an opinion since my knowledge of the old languages it might have been translated from are nil. The premises is, that if you want to make an argument quoting from scripture, it is a good idea to quote from the same scripture. On this forum that is the KJV1611 Bible. That is probably why my quotes from the Loose Canon don´t seem to lead to the same result when trying to find an answer for a worldly problem.

No I am not here for debate, but is this not a place for discussing bible truths?
Neither am I here for flaming, as you can see in all my posts. My posts contain my opinions in the most sensible and respectful way I can put it. If I did or will post any message that you believe is not respectful, I will try my best not to but just in case, I am sorry.

I don´t think librarian is going to answer this question, his last addition to this forum is some time ago.
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.

Disparaging something while offering no alternative is a pointless gesture, and could possibly lead to others thinking that you have no case at all, and just want to throw toys around in your pram.
In my case, you can substitute "could possibly" for "already has".

The KJV is a perfected Bible, ordained by God Himself.
2nd Kings 10:10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD
Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psalm 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
Psalm 33:11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good, his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations
Psalm 117:2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
Psalm 119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Psalm 119:152 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
Psalm 119:160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
1st Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God which liveth and abideth forever.
1st Peter 1:24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
1st Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you
So God has promised to preserve His word - and we know He delivers the goods:
Romans 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
However, you could stand spending some more time working on your ability to form sentences.
For a man not talking about Gods Word©, you are awfully critical.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

You are using the book in question to defend the book. That is called circular reasoning. I tend to bend the rules of grammar a bit cos I'm using a mobile device, which is a bit tricky to type on.

Dude, it's been proven that the King James was poorly translated. These guys are using "off" information, to use the modern phrase.

As I said, I wouldn´t know. Didymus Much put it in better wording:
Quote:
Disparaging something while offering no alternative is a pointless gesture, and could possibly lead to others thinking that you have no case at all, and just want to throw toys around in your pram.

Please be so kind to show us your better translation?
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
Best wishes for the people in Ukraine.

My dear, confused child: instead of making wild statements without any proof, why don't you try to post some actual evidence?
You can start on this website. There, you can search all verses and compare different translations. I took the liberty of plugging in the first verse for you - here it is, compared in ca. 30 different translations. (Just in English, but there are some other websites where you can compare other languages too, if you wish). As you can see, the differences are semantic (universe vs. heaven/heavens and earth). Obviously, the KJV version has the best, most logical, and therefore correct translation (heaven and earth) - which, by the way, is also the most common translation of this verse (again, pointing to its correctness). Good luck comparing the rest of the verses!
Of course, it would be highly advisable if you could read ancient Hebrew and Greek, and compare all of the modern translations directly with the original. But I guess I'm expecting too much from a mom's-basement-dweller.

Friend, I am not doing that. I am leading by Gods Infallible example. I am sorry for you if His Perfection is not good enough for you. Perhaps you'd find 'My Little Pony' to be more up your alley, as you people say.

No, I am showing you haw His Word is The Word. God does not make excuses like you do. Nor do I. God shepherds me and I do not question His unerring guidance.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The KJV is the one TRUE word of God. That has been proven time and time again.
Please take a look at my sermon on the subject HERE.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Don't make lame excuses for yourself, you lazy half-wit.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, wthat ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
