My parents aren't gothic though, I'm the only one of that sort in the family. They love me dearly regardless of our differences.

Any parents who wants, or doesn't object to, their children being goths is a sick pervert who wants, or doesn't care, if their children go to hell:
They love evil and allow people to be evil and damn themselves, but that's not love - that's being uncaring and/or hateful.

No, we do not love the same as a depraved sinner does friend. Our love is inspired by the TRUE™ and selfless Unconditional Love® of God.
