Let me just pass on this bit of advice to elderly Christians. If you are going to bequeath your estate to a church, give it to a Baptist church that believes every word in the Bible and has members alive with love for Jesus.
That is, don't be like this librarian and give it to a denomination that last heard the words "Jesus Christ" when the janitor hit his thumb with a hammer. Such is the librarian's church, the United Church of Christ. That group is so liberal it thinks the Democratic Party has something to do with democracy. It teaches the Bible as "metaphor", whatever that means.
Sorry about my rant here. It just annoys me so much when money that could go to Jesus goes to Satan:

Caroline John knew exactly what she wanted to do with her money after she was gone.
When she died in 2014 at age 95, she left $1.6 million to the York County Community Foundation, through which she created an endowment fund to benefit Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Hanover, according to a news release from the community foundation.
She chose to benefit Emmanuel United Church of Christ when the people there became her family after her husband, Adolph John, died in 2009.
Although John knew how she wanted to spend her money, she worried she wouldn't be able to fulfill her desire.
