Prayer Warriors put on the full Armor of God so that we can withstand the devil's schemes. We are at war, at all times.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

It's such an important concept, that we teach our children from a very early age that the devil has conspired against them, and they must be prepared to fight (spiritually, that is). We help them prepare by reading the Holy Bible, memorizing the Holy Bible, trusting the Holy Bible, and obeying the Holy Bible. For fun we play Armor of God.







And we teach them from an early age that the devil is so relentless, he will even attack them in their sleep (lustful dreams, "wet" dreams, masturbationary addiction under the covers). So we remind them they are always being watched, always ready for a fight. The Etheldreda children sleep in their Armor of God pajamas until they move out and are married and are ready to take on adult responsibilities:

There is a certain way of thinking—it's not really thinking at all because it's axiomatic—that was promoted by superstitious heathens such as the anceint Greeks. The Bible is clear about the status of Greek learning for a reason. God explains:

You see, witnesses such as Luke and Paul well knew the sorts of ideas coming out from Greece which had done so much harm during the Axial Period, among Israelites. Denying the influence of The Holy Ghost for instance or declaring that the world God made for us is a "planet" orbiting some gigantic central fire. Whereas the actual Creator has Himself given us a first hand account of what He did, when He did it and how much of it was done.

God understands human foolishness, such as advocated by Democritus for example, because He came down from Heaven to be born of a virgin SO THAT he could understand.

God doesn't leave us groping in darkness, He explains the very point you've raised in some detail. The Bible continues:

What God is explaining is that where your smart leaves off, that's where His dumb begins or rather that the veriest edge of the remotest cliff of human understanding is yet too far away from the light of God's least understanding for even a glimmer to be seen across the vast and yawning canyon betwixt.
