Did I say I hate him? Simply stated that a religion in itself can't be stupid, just people that follow religion.

Unless you've noticed, the norhern part of Earth is getting more sunlight which we are fast on our way to summer. And although we are close to the arctic circle, we don't have that much snow around here at this time of year. Igloos are hard to make without snow and ice, you know.

I live in Pohjanmaa, on the west coast, and since there's no seals around here, I don't really get a chance to club them. I can get meat from the local store much more easily anyway.

I see you blame man when things go wrong, but you give credit to God when they go right.

First of all, man is created in God's own image.

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
If you are accusing man of being corrupt and evil, you are calling my sweet LORD the same!


Secondly, what makes you think God doesn't create evil?

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Well, certainly God would never misuse religion, that's kinda obvious. And we here at LBC are trying with all our sincere might to stop the deluded fools of the world from twisting the Truth of God's Word. That's why we are all Bible, all the time. We don't let up; and we DON'T leave anything out.

If it's in the Bible, we are prepared to proclaim it; we don't profane it. If God demands it of His followers we are ready to call out as unbelievers and hypocrites those who would wiggle around it.

We here at Landover Baptist Church would never expect any person to do more to follow God's Word than we ourselves are willing to do. And we certainly do not make the mistake of thinking that the misdeeds of men can be attributed to God.

Of course we can be corrupted and evil, of course we can be dedicated and saints. God created us as free will beings, with universes of possibilities in our hands, people decide of their own ways, good or bad ones. God granted us the power to think, to imagine, to act, to create, to talk, to interract... We are all gods in our own human scale, we all have the power to do SOMETHING; but if i have the possibility to be a good man, so fatally i have also the possibility to do the inverse...

I blame humans for the wrong things and praise god for the good ones? I don't think god could praise a murder, a war or a cataclysm. After all, behind a good action there is also a human hand, a good willed feeling and in the best situation an inspiration from God and the ideas of our religion. Of course i wont cry because God praises positive actions and blame wrong ones.
God created Evil? As well as Good. Thes two notions are within anyone, Evil is like Good, a human choice; As far as there is a free will, there is Good and Evil...

You're writing a lot of things about good and evil, God and man, but I am still unclear of where you are coming from.

Do you love Jesus? Will you accept His blood sacrifice as the price of your sins? The Bible makes it clear that, "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin." You sound like some sort of humanist to me. Sure, you mention God, but what do you really know about Him?

Read the Bible for all that you need to know about God, then your heart and mind will be filled; True Religion will follow.

Of course i am humanist, to be honnest i'm close to the philisophers of the Age of enlightment but i'm as well a believer, the both are perfectly compatible.
The whole difference is i follow the New Testament ideals, but i don't follow blindly the Goespel nor the Dogma of the actual roman chirch. Do i love Jesus and God? I believe in them indeed, as well as i believe there is a part of them within anybody...

It's rather hard to explain but i have a cartesian faith, both believing in god and science, considering the first as the architect of the secondth... After am i right, am i wrong....

I stand in my faith, as well as i know with our growing knowledges in history and ancients culture we will with time more and more understand the true meanings of the Bible, as as we don't have to forget, the Bible is an ancient book, written following ancient cultures and imageries we still have to understand.
But nothing will make me change my opinion, the message of Jesus is and always will be the most positive and opened of mankind...

I have came here to make my own opinion on a baptist community, to share my ideas and why not debating or making you exposing your point of view. The whole theologies are made of debates, discussions, thesis, antithesis. So i admit we are'nt theologists but believers, but it does'nt negates discussion...
