Should I buy factory or free range meat? -
02-01-2007, 05:09 PM
I haven't bought meat since 1993, since I have been mistakenly straying down the unholy path of veganism . Luckily I have read the wise words of Brother Harry Hardwick in this sermon http://www.landoverbaptist.org/sermons/vegans.html and was shocked and appalled to find I was practising modern day witchcraft! I will pray to Jesus for His forgiveness, and I will at least double my tithe this week!
Obviously I wish my soul to be saved so I need to buy dead animals so I can feed myself and my man True Christian fare.
Should a True Christian lady buy free range meat or factory farmed? I'd have though free range was a kinder way to treat the animals before we eat them but as this article here, http://www.cok.net/lit/freerange.php(I apologise for the fact it is written by modern day witches!) points out, a truly free range world is not possible for us true Christians who require meat with every meal!
Quote:
Is a Truly Free-Range World Possible?
The U.S. animal agribusiness industry currently confines and slaughters more than ten billion land animals each year, the overwhelming majority of whom live intensively confined on factory farms where many cannot even turn around or fully stretch their limbs. Would it be possible to raise ten billion animals without intense confinement? Probably not.
If intense confinement operations were banned, it's highly unlikely producers could supply an entire nation of 280 million meat-, egg-, and dairy consumers with enough animal products to sustain the typical American diet. So, without even considering the ethical problems inherent in raising and slaughtering animals for food, from a practical perspective, completely humane farming and slaughtering methods aren't possible.
|
Perhaps though, they do not take into account there would be more land for our dinner to roam in once we get rid of the heathens who currently live there?
Although the "Happy meat" is very expensive to afford for every meal.
I also wonder if the shackles used to hold down the dinner in factory farms are made by the same manufacturers as the Christian Chastity Contraptions illustrated in this thread http://www.landoverbaptist.net/showthread.php?t=1731 as I can see a resemblance?

Congratulations on turning your life toward Salvation, Kay Dee!
While there is no real harm in eating factory-raised animals -- some extra antibiotics never hurt anyone -- the free-range animals are usually tastier and lower in fat.
So, I'd buy the organic or free-range critters when possible.
Miss Dee, you HAVE hit upon an interesting problem. The vast majority of people (even in Godly America) are heathens; perhaps we should begin a campaign to stress that eating free-range animals is the True Christian thing to do! (Then the Satanists would be sure to leave those animals for the Christians!)

Praise, Sister! Welcome to the Narrow Path™ to Jesus!
While I find both to be viable options, you did leave out the one other option. You mentioned your husband. If he is Godly enough he should be out with his friends doing some True Christian™ male bonding and shooting God's tastier creations!
Hunting is not only one of the most masculine ways your husband can walk with Jesus, but the money it will save will allow you to increase your tithe. It's win/win!

Let's not forget that it also allows Kay Dee an opportunity to have some "girl time" with the other True Christian™ wives, perhaps some baking, pillow-fighting, a pajama party, etc., while the menfolk get to go off in the woods for an overnight camping trip with beer and guns and pup tents, hunting down some tasty meat!
A glorious weekend of fun and bonding for all!

Praise Brother it is so true. Nothing better than going off with just one tent with my fellow men into the woods and getting some tail from some big buck! er,.. except for going to Sunday service, that, naturally is better.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Dear Kay Dee, I hope you realize how lucky you are to have found LBC so soon to the rapture. I don't mean to pry, but I detect the possibility of an even greater sin/opportunity for you to save your soul . . . I have a suspicion that you may also be in the anti-Wal-Mart crowd and I do think this may be a good time to deal with the root problem.
Get youself down to Wal-Marts and buy the cheapest Tyson chicken you can, preferably frozen and breaded as this requires extensive labor done by the working poor (aka God's less favored). And while you're at it, pick up some buttermilk biscuits, Jimmy Dean sausage, and big carton of white as Jesus eggs in a styrofoam container. ENCOURAGED GLENDORA

Mother Glynddie, while any of us True Christians can safely traverse the temptations of a Wal-Mart, I'm not sure it's a good idea to encourage a young, single lady like Kay Dee -- who is just beginning to hoist herself from the filth of UnSavedness -- to enter such places, filled to the brim as they are with the cheapest quality Asian goods (stealing jobs from good American workers!) and the lowest quality sinners. She's certainly not ready to go out witnessing to those wretches yet, and could be tempted into a "rollback" by that Satanic yellow smiley-face monster!
Kay Dee, you can get all those goodies and more at AJ's Fine Foods, or a similar store with cleanliness standards (for the floor AND the clientele). While you're learning, take your time and don't expose yourself to the wrong sort of people . . . we don't want you getting misled!

That is exactly what I was thinking! Only, the guys in Brokeback Mountain were "fishing", not "hunting". Though I imagine it's all just slang for the same thing.

Oh listen to the two she-harlots prattle on; you start talking about "me and Billy Buck we polishing our guns together. You should see how long his is!" and you start giggling like school girls over something naughty. To show you how childish it is Sister Glendora Christianson has a pretty big piece she keeps on her holster!! She showed it to me and I even found it hard to handle something as powerful as her gun.
You see how silly you two sound now??? Frankly it is shameful you to hussies even know about that Blowback Mountian. Perhaps I should go off into the woods with some wicker witch and have her try to strangle me with her unshaved legs??? Would that be better to you two????

Well, do a search for 'daddy stick' and 'daddy bags' on the forum and you're quite a big contributor, BJ, so you must think about them a lot. Not to mention your nickname.... BJ... As to the story of you and Glendora's gun, well, that just raises more questions!

Right.
Whenever caught behaving in some disgusting and sinful way; you blame someone else.
Oh well, this is the kind of behaviour we've come to expect from you unsaved...
You people will blame anyone but yourselfs for your sins, won't you?
If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.
A foolish woman is clamorous: She is simple, and knoweth nothing.

Thank you all for your kind advice brothers and sisters.
Sadly he cannot simply purchase a gun for hunting straight away as you folks have the good fortune to be able to do in the States, as we live in Scotland where there are stringent gun regulations, and he'll have to wait rather a long time, so in the meantime I must shop.
I blame these heathens and sinners for the stringent gun regulations here, where a good Christian man cannot purchase a gun purely for the godly and virtuous act of blowing Bambi's brains out! And perhaps firing a few bullets at the skirt wearing homos round these parts too...
We do not have a Wal-mart here either, although I've made a list of the items Mother Glendora has listed and shall try try to find them in one of our Scottish supermarkets.
I am ashamed to say I was indeed a so called "compassionate consumer" and mistakenly thought buying fair trade was a noble and Christian act, until I was lucky enough to find LBC and the oppurtunity to save my soul.
Many thanks again, Kay Dee xxxx
