Starbucks Hates God -
05-06-2007, 11:58 PM
Brothers and sisters, I want to call on all of you to avoid purchasing your coffee products from the vile Starbucks corporation. As you can plainly see in THIS Godly report, they have decided to throw their fate into satan's hands, and spit in Jesus' face.
Quote:
BIG BREWHAHA
Anti-God Starbucks cup has customer steaming
Woman says: 'I just want coffee'
© 2007 WorldNetDaily.com
An Ohio woman is steaming after reading an anti-God message published on the side of a Starbucks coffee cup.
The message that got Michelle Incanno's blood boiling reads:
"Why in moments of crisis do we ask God for strength and help? As cognitive beings, why would we ask something that may well be a figment of our imaginations for guidance? Why not search inside ourselves for the power to overcome? After all, we are strong enough to cause most of the catastrophes we need to endure."
The quote was written by Bill Schell, a Starbucks customer from London, Ontario, Canada, and was included as part of an effort by the Seattle-based coffee giant to collect different viewpoints and spur discussion.
"As someone who loves God, I was so offended by that," Michelle Incanno, a married mother of three who is Catholic, told the Dayton Daily News. "I don't think there needs to be religious dialogue on it. I just want coffee."
Incanno of Springboro, Ohio, admits she had been a huge fan of Starbucks before discovering the message, always ordering a large, house-brewed coffee with nonfat milk and two Splenda.
"I wouldn't feel right going back," she said.
The paper says Incanno wasn't satisfied with a company disclaimer saying the quote is the author's opinion, not necessarily that of Starbucks, which invites customers to respond on its website.
Starbucks spokeswoman Sanja Gould said the collection of thoughts and opinions is a "way to promote open, respectful conversation among a wide variety of individuals. "
This is not the first time a message on a Starbucks cup has caused controversy.
As WND reported in September 2005, officials at Baylor University told the Starbucks store on its Waco, Texas, campus to remove a cup said to promote homosexuality.
The offending cup featured the words of homosexual novelist Armistead Maupin.
It read:
"My only regret about being gay is that I repressed it for so long. I surrendered my youth to the people I feared when I could have been out there loving someone. Don't make that mistake yourself. Life's too damn short."
Baylor University, the world's largest Baptist school, refused to comment on the issue, said KCEN-TV in central Texas. Employees at the campus Starbucks said none of their customers had complained about the cup, but they removed it nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure that he'll regret one more thing about deciding to be a queer.
Lev.20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Much as I urge everyone to avoid the vile Starbucks corporation, I must remind our loyal congregation that Costa Coffee is not an acceptable alternative: my sources report that, in an attempt to outdo Star****s, they have begun serving coffee in cups printed with extracts from Leon Trotsky's "The Significance of Anti-Religious Propaganda", or the entire lyrics to "Cake and Sodomy" by Marilyn Manson. Just disgraceful.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.
God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Who says we want to boycott it? Do we look like hippies? No, we want to buy out Starbucks stock and replace the executive staff with more Christian friendly leadership. The Starbuck's staff with then be required to sign a Christian guided code of ethics statement or they will be fired. Known homers, atheists and pagans will be purged from the Starbucks work force and finally their cups will carry proper Christian inspiration messages.
This is the only way stop this persecution.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Praise! Then, instead of engaging in blatant anti-Christian persecution by forcing Christians to accept such coffee cups, the new, Christian Starbucks will let us True Christians™ exercise our First Amendment right to share the saving message of Jesus.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

After reading the article, I am even more convinced that we should invade Canada and save the good Christians there from the homosexuals and liberals that seem to have taken over the country. As for the woman who was upset by the cup . . . I believe she has every right to stone the Starbuck's employee who gave her the cup. I am reminded of Psalm 101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD. I believe this passage supports both the stoning and the upcoming war in Canada. HOPEFUL GLENDORA
Jesus - gentle, dependable overnight relief.

you are quite correct, Canada IS silly rubbish. But right after our Godly President GWB is re-elected to a lifetime term, and right after we turn iraquistan into a sheet of glass, America will repossess the land that you Cannuckistanis pre-stole from us.
The complete invasion and submission of Canada should take about half a day. We will be cheered in the streets as liberators. Glory!!

Great, so you're not a commie Jewess, just some commie who lets his Jewess cousin boss him around. Jesus hates incest, you know.

Because they are delusional. In this day and age, when there is logical explanations for everything that happens on earth, there is no excuse for truthfully believing in a deity. The reasons you believe in Christ Insanity:
1. You were taught the Bible at a young age: As truth, not even alongside modern science education. You believe it because your parents believe it because their parents believe it because of many, many generations ago when some con artist told you a Jew rose from the dead.
2. Fear: "If there is a god, and I believe in her/him/it, I will go to heaven. If there isn't one after all, then nothing bad will happen to me anyway." That's being driven by fear. And that's delusion.
3. You live in Iowa: The school system is very biased. Regardless of how many "Demoncrats" are in the senate, they can't make you teach evolution in schools without an angle. If you lived on the East Coast, you'd be able to make your own decisions.

Hogwash, and I'm living proof. I was raised by Catholics, who believe that the Bible is worthless and that God speaks through a cross-dressing cannibal pedophile. When I actually read God's Word, I discovered the Truth™ and converted of my own volition (but with His help, of course).

Wrong yet again. True Christians™ aren't afraid of anything, because we know we're going to Heaven.

Actually, activist judges force the religion of evilutionism upon children even in this Godly state, despite what Jon Jewart and his cronies want you to believe. Of course, the only public school in Freehold mysteriously burned down in the eighties, so all of our young ones are taught the Truth™ from an open-minded and Biblically literal perspective. But we're a very rare exception.

No there aren't. Don't be silly. Over 68% of the electorate apparently disapprove of the Great and Godly George W. Bush, and I defy anyone to come up with a logical explanation for that.

Would you rather we falsely or deceptively believed in a deity?

Stuff and nonsense. As she has pointed out, Sister VDT was raised a Godless Papist, as was Sister Mary; for my sins, I was born into a family of hooknosed kikes, and so it is little short of a miracle that I was able to repent of my Christ-killing ways and accept Him!

No, being driven by fear is perfectly rational. HP Lovecraft, the grandfather of goth, spoke an awful lot of rubbish, but he certainly had a point when he said that the oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear. When I avoid the negro and Polack areas of town, I'm driven by fear, but that's hardly delusional, I just don't want to be brutally sodomised and repeatedly murdered.

Um, I live in England. But you're right, the school system is awfully biased, the Truth of God's creation of the world hardly gets a look in.
